South Park new episode discussion thread.

So this is a thread where each week you guys can share your opinions on the latest episode of South Park and even give it a score if you want. I think it would be cool to see what you guys think of each episode.

You guys can of course talk about earlier episodes as well.

I don't quite understand. For me, South Park has been the only show on for... like, the whole of it's run that has been at least continuously good, sometimes classic, sometimes great. Regardless, it never pulled a Family Guy, Simpsons etc.

The newer episodes are a lot better than the older ones. A lot of my friends say this but haven't watched for like 3 years.

Actually, I never really liked South Park. As for Family Guy, well, that show just sucks... now. :)

So when are we going to discuss the latest episodes?

I think I missed the very end of the episode. But what I got from it was that God is a dick, douchebag, motherfucker.

South Park is still very good surprisingly. There are a few "off" episodes here-or-there, but it's not as consistently devoid of life, cleverness, and edginess like The Simpsons. The only boundary The Simpsons pushes now is how much a voice actor should get paid.

I liken that show to the zombie from The Walking Dead that Carl found stuck in the swamp and didn't kill.

This is the internet, we don't discuss things, we just yell our negative opinions at each other.

The last episode was weird. I enjoyed watching it even though I didn't laugh very much. I don't think I fully understood the message behind Eric' hallucination; was it simply supposed to be that if the events of the original Passover are to be taken literally God is a tremendous jerk? Or is there something I am missing?

I hope that one day they will have a xmas special.

The Jewpacabra wont get me because I'm Jewish :)

The funniest part of this weeks episode is

Latest ep was my favorite of this season, is it a two-parter? Seems set up pretty well. I think the meme episode last week was kinda weak but the first two episodes were solid, I can understand people not liking the show, just like I can't see why anyone with a brain would find Archer funny, that's just opinions, but for me South Park has literally been consistently hilarious from start to finish, don't know how they pull it off.

Early South Park was actually subtle and funny, and not direct and obnoxious.

was just alright. i didn't laugh to much. i didn't really get the message towards it. religious is different, god can be a dick to people.

i liked last weeks episode. it's kind of memes are always changing. random train in the audence killing the reporter.

This episode was about how lame Jewish holidays are.

I just tried watching two of the older episodes..they weren't funny, in my opinion of course.

Oh man, the newest ep is sooooo goood. Seemed to be more in the older style of South Park.

Well clearly my brain isn't functioning properly then. I find Archer to be extremely funny. There is something about the way Archer keeps talking whilst others talk and the stupid stuff he says extremely endearing, much like in Frisky Dingo. Comedy is a very personal thing. I still find The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, American Dad and Futurama all to be continuously funny. They are a much better use of my viewing time than much of the crap on television.

Hmm, the episodes this season has been mediocre, i hope they pull of something really great soon.

And yes, South Park is 1000x better than Family Guy.

This is actually the first season of South Park I've ever watched and found it enjoyable enough. Saying that I have nothing to compare it to so I can't tell if it was a good or bad season.

You should check out the first 15 seasons as well. :)

It doesn't motherfucking make SENSE that even though it takes them 6 days to produce an episode, they create only SEVEN consecutive ones, then take a long ass break, then pump out 7 more and call it a season.

I liked the Cash for Gold and I should have never gone ziplining episode, the ziplining one was my favorite for this season so far.

My favorite episode ever was Pinewood Derby.

In my opinion, the episodes of South Park that have to do with the media, or current events, make South Park one of the smartest shows on TV.
