Things you're sad you won't get to see in your lifetime

It saddens me that I probably won't live long enough to see Humanity visit other planets and actually live there. The idea of such a thing is just awesome. Unless of course one of NASA's rovers on Mars uncovers some ancient Prothean artifact that jumps our technology forward 200 years...

Sorry, but the next person to claim the world is going to end in 2012 is going to get my pen lodged in their brain. I swear, it's getting as bad as the Hadron Collider.  At least do some research on the subject before spouting doomsday theories!  I know you meant it as a joke, but give it a few more months and there will be people seriously believing it. The amount of ignorance surrounding the giant Hadron collider was just mind boggling.. "

I have no idea what I'll see in my lifetime because I'm only 15 so I can't be sad about it.  I guess I'm sad I will never be able to see machines rebel against humans and begin to enslave us but that could still happen in my lifetime.

Oh and another thing I won't get to see is humans using their natural full strength. Hopefully scientists will figure out how to strengthen our bodies to take the abuse. You know like when the adrenaline kicks in and you can lift a car a few inches off the ground. Our bodies can do that supposedly super strength like stuff but our brain doesn't let us due to the tendons and other tissue that hold us together can't take that kind of abuse.

 Some thing i'm sad i will never live to see? Hmmmm....besides the touch of a woman i would have to say living in an underwater city, living in a space station, living on another planet and  feeling the touch of a sexy space alien girl are the big ones. 
 
Seeing what kind of creature humanity eventually evolves into would be interesting as well, not to mention just seeing humanity growing the fuck up and stopping with all the wars and death. To see us finally get to the point where we stop worrying about petty things like owning stuff, selfishness and instead try to do everything to better ourselves as a species and not just ourselves.to grow past the point of thinking one person is better then another because they are fatter then you have a different skin colour or has less money then you. That would be nice, to bad i will never live to see it. I would settle for the sexy space girls myself.
