What is the best Slipknot album, in your opinion?

I've been listening to those lads from Iowa recently, and since I'm fairly bored and laid back at the moment I thought about making a topic discussing the best album they've produced.

In my opinion, Volume 3 was their best album to date with the self titled album following in at a close second.

For me the only right answer is Iowa.

Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses.

Their last album.

I like their first one the best

After I realized they were douche bags (which was shortly after the second release) I stayed away. I know what you're thinking; don't judge music on the personalities of those who make it, but man, they are just that douchey.

Subliminal verses, it waa the only album that did things besides scream...

Uhhh missing an album; Mate Feed Kill Repeat.

However was only into them during Self-Titled and Iowa.

corey was super vocal on the first two which is why i like them

I really really really don't like them. The only song I heard was Lamb of God and I couldn't stand it.

im not the biggest fan slipknot, or the kind of music they play. but i like all hope is gone. dead memories was epic i think.

I looooove slipknot...but im not sure which one i like the best.

As far as I'm concerned, Iowa is the only album they wrote.  The rest was a bunch of rap metal slop and Slip-Sour bullshit.

I hate their music. I listen to Los Straitjackets when I need some good music by masked individuals.

I thought there new album was there best to be honest.

I wish slipknot would get rid of the unnecessary members and take the masks off.
People would respect them more.

Vol. 3 followed by Iowa. Though I'm not exactly a fan of theirs. And I agree with what Jesus said about taking of the masks and kicking out the extra members.
Also I think the vocalist should sing more and scream less. He has a great voice but sucks terribly at screaming.

Yea, I think a lot of people say he sucks because he's in a band that sold out and a lot of people hate. But I think he's by far the most (and possibly the only) talented guy in the band. The only time he really showed it though was on their self-titled album, which hardly anyone listened to. "

I don't really listen to them but whatever album "Psychosocial" is on because that song is good.

Subliminal Verses

i like all hope is gone but it seems like more stone sour then slipknot. For those who don't know corey taylor and james roots are in another band called Stone Sour. it has three other band members.

i've seen stone sour like three times and slipknotknot once. Corey feels the same in both bands when seeing them live.

I think slipknot is poop.
But that's my opinion.
