Dom because he's a complete idiot, his terrible AI makes him such a lovable and endearing character, no but seriously - Cole.

Baird. He's the most interesting character.

Cole Train Hulk favorite Gears character.  Hulk like Cole Train cause Hulk always use him online.  Hulk change gamertag to Augustus Cole cause Hulk use Cole so much.  Hulk only one that actively use gamertag named after Gears character.  Marcus Fenix, Dominic Santiago, Damon Baird, etc all registered but never used by owners.  Most are registered on original Xbox and never used on 360.  That make Hulk MAD!!

I would say Baird. He just seems like the guy who trys his best to be the tough guy when really he is a closet homosexual. You know the guy who is always like "I LIKE THE LADIES!!!"

Marcus? They all have a generic tough guy personality, if you ask me.

Cole and Marcus are my favorite characters. Marcus because he's a badass and Cole because of his funny catch phrases.

Nothing beats the Cole Train but a lot of people seem to like carmine

Dom, because in Gears 2 we'll learn more about his family. Remember that they said that Gears 2 story will start with Dom searching for his wife.

My favorite is probably Baird.

I'm going to go with Kim.  He's kind of like the gunner in the Death Star in Star Wars, the one who chose not to shoot the escape pod containing C-3PO and R2-D2. 

Without Kim's actions, his choice, his bravery, Marcus would have been surrounded and the squad would have never rendezvoused with Delta Squad.  It's a wonky example of the butterfly effect in video games.

Dom because he actually has "character" and backstory. I like the other guys but Dom is probably the most thought out in my opinion.
