    I'm sure it will be polished up by the time it comes out, but I'm certainly going to be paying more attention to the gory aspect of this game.

    @Landmine: Yeah it's one of the first times a game has made me cringe. Seeing that Helios bit for the first time I was like... EWWWWW. You know when you want to look away but can't help looking back with the corner of your eye.

    The detail in the Kratos model is absolutely phenomonal.

    I love Helios' voice.

    EDIT: As for it looking and playing exactly like the previous God Of War franchises -- well I think they know that. God Of War was one of the few games that was virtually perfect the first time it came out. They're clearly going for the "bigger, better more badass philosophy" here. I think they mean it when they say this is the end of the trilogy. I'm not saying it will be the end of the franchise, I just think they know that with this iteration the games run it's course.

    So long as it's a roller coaster from start to finish like previous iterations (which it will be), then this game will be a big success. The gameplay is already in place.

    Oh and by the way - the media are going to have a riot with this. Which is exactly what Sony want.

    Looks exactly the same as GoW 2, Was never a fan of the combat in these games. When the first weapon you get instarapes everything within 20 feet of you, it feels like the game's difficulty was scaled for a kindergartner.

    I've never played a God of War game, but I had that Wolverine game and so much stuff from this reminded me of it.  This looks better though, Wolverine was alright but after you beat it once there's really no reason to play it again.

    this and Heavy Rain are the 2 main reasons I bought a PS3... in addition of course, to Killzone 2, MGS4, LBP, and Valkyria Chronicles but those are all already out.

    Is it me or is Kratos the most unappealing unoriginal character ummm... ever?
    Combat is great but I feel nothing for the main character.
    Hopefully G.O.W.3 will be the last one and the team responsible will create a more likable character... with character.
