Well, I hope that there's a sequel. I really disliked God of War 3's story. I had my mind made up of how I'd love it to end back when I had played the original in 05. I was a little less interested in the God of War series by the time the third came out, but I still had the same thought, though didn't care to have any one expectation at the time, in the end though, it just didn't end how I would have liked it to. In the first God of War, Krato's seemed like a guy who killed, but overall had a sympathetic side to him and felt a bit guilty for the things he had done in his past, and aside from the whole sacrificing thing he had done at Pandora's Temple in the first, I liked him a lot as a character.
In two, he just seemed more (dare I say it) bad-ass, without necessarily fleshing his character out to one side or the other, but in the third, he just goes on a total killing streak and it just felt very disjointed. His story and goal seems to have shifted in a huge way, though not in a very understandable way, from the first to the third. It should have ended in a more... relatable way. I was hoping that in the end it'd take a more Gladiator-esque ending, where if he died, it'd be a somewhat emotional ending where he meets his family in Elysium. I think David Jaffe's ending was quite good from what I had heard. Oh, and about this "trailer", it looks extremely fake, but I guess in time, we'll have to see.
