    Hamburger

Object » linked to 362 games

A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).

    Where's the veggie burgers at?

Any veggie burgers featured in games? If so, is that a seperate entry or does it still fall under the traditional 'hamburger'?

I think it's piss poor that vegetarians don't get to chow down on veggie burgers in games! Surely the high protein content of soy could make a useful power-up...

You may now go ahead and beat me to death for posting such blasphemy on this meaty, meaty page.

A vegetarian hamburger is too close to a sandwich to be called a hamburger I think.
The 'ham'-part loses it's meaning if you remove the meat. Hmm...

It would absolutely be a uselful power-up, but it would be mentaly hard to choose between a regular and a vegetarian hamburger.
That's why they stick with just a regular hamburger.

Exactly, the suits in games companies believe that whilst veggie burgers are soyalishus, there just isnt a market for veggie burgers right now.

However, I have high hopes for the much rumoured Portal : Attack of the Veggies

Veggieburgers FTW!!!! Screw all those who don't like them! I bet most of you who turn your nose at them haven't even tried them. If you have tired them and don't like them then thats ok. But, if you haven't even tried them then get your head out of your a$$ and shut your mouth about something you know nothing about.

Veggies are generally not made out of soy. They are made out vegetables. The best ones are the black bean burgers. Even better then that are homemade burgers.

Homemade FTW, no doubt. But no meat-imitator at all? :O

A Veggie burger is never in a game because the main character needs MEAT! He or she needs to bite into the raw flesh of dead beasts in order to drive himself into the blood frenzy he needs to be in so he can go on and complete his quest, whatever it may be.

Tempeh burgers are the only acceptable soy-based burger, since the fermentation grants them a slightly better taste and texture than the regular ones. They're also less dry.

Garden burgers aren't bad, but there's not really anything to them.

However, if there's meat nearby I'll eat that first.

What's with all this hate for the veggie burger? I love eating meat (no homo) as much as the next guy (again, no homo), but veggie burgers can be quite tasty IMO.

Substituting non-meat products for meat doesn't always work for me, but I have to say, veggie burgers are alright. It could be worse, we could be eating tofurkey sandwiches.

I don't even see the point of veggie burgers.
