Joe Johnson is a 6'8", 225 lb. Guard from the University of Arkansas who has played for the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, and Atlanta Hawks. Johnson was born June 29, 1981 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He chose to play for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. He played two seasons with them before being selected 10th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2001 NBA Draft. On February 20, 2002 Johnson was traded along with Randy Brown and Milt Palacio and a 2002 1st round draft pick (Casey Jacobsen) to the Phoenix Suns for Tony Delk and Rodney Rogers. While with the Suns his points total increased each season. On August 19, 2005 Johnson was traded to the Atlanta Hawks for Boris Diaw, a 2006 1st round draft pick (Rajon Rondo) and a 2008 1st round draft pick (Robin Lopez.) While with the Hawks Johnson would go to three All-Star Games.
