These Pokémon are often more powerful than normal Pokémon, and are often crucial to the storylines of their games. Legendary Pokémon can be captured by Pokémon Trainers using Poké Balls like other Pokémon. However, they are much harder to catch, due to their lower capture rates and the amount of work Trainers have to do to get to them in the first place.
