DId anyone else feel like Tali was the most interesting of all the characters and was a little disappointed that there was no romance option for her?
Mass Effect
Game » consists of 21 releases. Released Nov 20, 2007
Humanity is still a newcomer on the futuristic galactic stage, and it's up to the charismatic Commander Shepard to investigate the actions of a rogue agent while under threat from a dangerous synthetic race known as the Geth.
No Quarian Romance Option?
Just because they can't, you know, get busy, they could still fall in love. I was far more disappointed that I didn't get to see the damn flotilla. I was so looking forward to that being a place to visit in the game …" @BulletStorm: I definitely thought Tali was a very interesting character and felt she wasn't given as much depth as she deserved, although I thought the game implied that biological differences made human/Quarian romances impossible "
" @BrainSpecialist said:I'd swear it was :/" Mass Effect makes my mass erect Puns ftw "Protip: That's not a pun. "
My bad. What is it?

A pun would be something like "Us two make a good pear" or something along those lines.
In other news, I'd hit that blue thing.
" @TheMustacheHero: to be fair, it was just something off of Zero Punc. In other news, I'd hit that blue thing. "Wow, it was a bad joke to begin with then I found out you STOLE the bad joke?
I am disappoint.
I thought she (Tali) had to be in her suit all the time, so how would the physical aspect of the relationship be fulfilled ?

This." Well, who knows what she looks like behind that mask. "
Her legs make her seem like she'd be alot of fun from the back but her face could look like predator for all we know. Also, after watching Species as a child I fear that alien that doesn't have a 100 human body has probably has daggers or claws in its vagina or will try to kill you if you have sex with it.
For some reason that was always in my mind everytime she said soemthing interesting or I felt sorry for her plight.
" @TheMustacheHero:Fuck it, I lol'd. "

(raises eyebrows) Still:

I wouldn't be. You could catch the genophage, and y'know there isn't an ointment in the cosmos that'll clear that up." I was more disappointed there wasn't one for Wrex. :P "
And yeah, during the game I was wondering about Tali, too. The fact that she shares a name with a female MC just made it more alluring. Awww, no matter. I was perfectly happy with my sweet bit of blue totty.
Yeah I was interested in Persona 4ing everything that cast a shadow, but it didn't work out. I got with Liara because everyone knows Ashley is a space nazi (nice use of words cc2357). Actually I even killed Ashley because of how annoying I found her. So that was my Mass Effect experience. I had sex with two blue chicks. ( There was that sketchy escort one on like the first side quest in town.
Yeah I wanted to bang tali, however there wasn't that option. I usually go for the blue alien women instead.
Well, there are a few reasons why they don't go there with Tali. She's a teenager, more or less. She's very clearly the "youngster" of the party, having a wide-eyed innocence. She also can't survive without that suit on, since her immune system is pretty much dead, so no physical romance. Finally, her entire story is all about supporting the flotilla, returning there after she's helped you and help the remaining Quarrians.
Yea I was trying to get her in the sack till I realized that wasn't an option. They should have let you pick her and when she takes off her mask, her face looks like this creature next to the cat
Then you still get to watch the cut scene of you getting it on with her.
It has been confirmed that Quarian and Human intercourse is possible becuase Quarians can only catch Quarian diseases and I don't see Shepard interacting with many diseased Quarians(sarcasm intended) also Tali has been confirmed as a squad member for ME2 so it's very possible she could have a romance in ME2 especially becuase the Developers have spent so much time discussing wether intercourse is possible or not anyways I got all this information from Dev posts on the official Bioware site
" I was more disappointed there wasn't one for Wrex. :P ""You're so gentle, Shepard."
Quarians are like the future version of "the boy in the plastic bubble", so I don't think they are anything other than humanoid with very low immune systems. I guess if Shepard (or any human) was in a "clean" environment, the two could engage in physical intimacy. However, the person could also be a giant germ farm themselves infecting the Quarian through the simple act of touching.
@alexl86: You know that by Asari standards, Liara was a child, so using your logic, any contact between Shepard and her makes him/her a pedophile. I never thought of Tali as a youngster or innocent. Sheltered, perhaps but no less than Shepard who seems to lack the most basic of knowledge sometimes. I think Tali actually represents closed cultures poetically shrouded in mystery to foreign eyes. Like an Islamic burka, Tali's face is hidden reinforcing the divide between humanity and Quarian culture. I don't believe that anything else suggests that her people are less developed than the council races, just different than what is familiar by galactic standards.
