     "No delay on PC for Modern Warfare 2. You'll also have Prestige Mode in PC as well as lots of Steam support. Hopefully min specs will be soon"
    So yeah, pretty good news for those who are going to be getting this on Steam. And you'll be able to reap the benefits of prestiging.

    There was also some talk of fourtwozero saying there will not be dedicated server support for PC players. Sounds kinda ludicrous which is why I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything along those lines?

    They stripped out dedicated servers to trounce fan made mods so they can sell you DLC. Then they charge you an extra $10 to have those features gutted.

    Apparently it's true and was confirmed by fourzerotwo. Looks like I definitely won't be buying the PC version.

    Yeah, it doesnt matter how good they could try to make it sound, the PC version of the game is completely dead after that announcement.

    well i guess with announcements like this, that means Steam might have one of those weekend deals where one can purchase MW1 on the cheap when MW2 comes up.  thanks for the heads-up. 
     
    on the other hand, i'm one of those freaks that still wants a physical copy of a game =P 
    regardless, still not getting this due to crippled multiplayer (aka no ded. servers)
