I don't like shooting (FPS), so I was never interested to begin with. No matter how good this game is, it isn't the game for me.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Game » consists of 22 releases. Released Nov 10, 2009
The sequel to 2007’s wildly successful first-person-shooter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues the story of American and British soldiers fighting Russian ultra-nationalist forces.
Pure and simple, knowing what you know now -- would you buy MW2?
I still play the MP, but its not as much fun as the the first MW. The balance is way off, too many exploits and glitches, and I don't really like the lack of match customization. There should be limits to kill streak rewards. I could go on and on.
Absolutely not. IMO, CoD has been going downhill since CoD3, but part of the reason I wouldn't buy it is because I'm not massively into FPS'... therefore if it isn't an excellent FPS I won't buy it, since I have other games in my preferred genres to be getting.
I've heard MW2 is pretty good, but it wouldn't hold my attention for long at all.
Yes. I really like the game. There are better FPS games on the PS3 but it's still a great game for my collection.
Yes. Single player is intense and the multiplayer seems to be starting to even out as I'm finding enough people online who hate campers etc that we can start making our own games and actually play a game.
" Since i havn't experienced any glitches i've had a blast with MP. Didn't care that much for the SP and i havn't plated mush SO, but the MP is worth every penny the games gonna cost you. "Sorry to sound like someone without a clue, but what is "SO", and why haven't you "plated mush" of it?
No, and I'm glad I haven't. I am, however, happy someone I knew bought it so that I could play through as much of it as I wanted. :)
At first I enjoyed it a ton, despite the lag, despite the no dedicated servers, it was still a load of fun. Then the unbalance hit... So if I could go back in time and unbuy the game on steam, I would.
I still like the game, and, after my MP run last night I have realized that when I am bitching about people playing cheap it is generally because I am on my C game. I was thinking pretty damn fast at 5am last night...
Nope. It's not because of the glitches, balance, or singleplayer. It's not because of the multiplayer. It's not because the game is not good. I simply am not enjoying myself when I play it. Even when I don't get frustrated I am not sure why I am not having fun. The singleplayer was too hectic, and the multiplayer is...I just don't enjoy it and am not sure why. I am really good at it, but I don't know why I don't enjoy it.
" Its worth it just for the singleplayer campaign. "Took me about 4 of 5 hours in one sitting. That, combined with the content of the experience, while great and fun, was not worth 60 bucks. Just my opinion, of course.

" imma borrow it from a friend. "I'll eventually do this to experience the campaign

1. You haven't even played MW2
2. You thought that COD 3 was better than COD 4
3. You don't like FPS, so you bash an FPS, because it's an FPS
4. You barely know anything about this game, yet you say that you don't like it
As much fun as I had with the single-player, it was really really short. The multiplayer has been nothing but a headache to me, and although I thought Spec. Ops was fun for a little while, I didn't think the missions were long enough to justify putting time aside with one other buddy to play it. If it would have been for up to four players, THEN I may have put more stock in the mode.
Overall, I suppose I may have been persuaded to buy it had I some extra money, but no way would I have gotten as excited for it as I did.
