Just saw this on testyourmight lol, Cyber Sub looks really badass, reminds me a little bit of a Predator in a way. 
 
I hope they don't decide to keep him a cyborg though....I know few weeks ago the MK team said, they're not sure if they'll bring back Cyber Sub as part of the canon future MK games after this....

Canonically Cyber Sub-Zero makes sense.  After all Sektor was a former member of Sub-Zero's clan so all the cyber ninjas are former Lin Kuei.
 
Frost...really?  I guess they have to reserve DLC for characters you actually might want like Rain etc.
 
Although honestly I can't complain because this is a pretty fucking amazing roster.  It's pretty much UMK3 and I'm loving it.

Im guessing the reason Cyber Sub-Zero is in the previously designated DLC slot is because you'll be able to press right or left to cycle through a bunch of DLC characters, Kratos, hidden characters like Sub-Zero, and bosses like Goro and Shao Kahn, should they be unlockable.

I'm still a little disappointed Rain isn't on the primary roster since he is of the primary trilogy... im still hoping he is going to be on the release as a secret character or something.
 
either way, no surprise on the roster, the data mining info from the demo seems to be correct then...still not to thrilled about Smoke's troll look though...

Um, its probably a different Sub Zero. If you read the dumbass canon like me, you know there are multiple Sub Zeros and the tribe Sub Zero, Cyrax, Smoke, etc come from converted all their dudes to robots. So its probably a different Sub Zero. "

I think this is the most excited I have been for a game since DMC3.  (And I was REALLY excited for DMC3)

The first Sub Zero died and became Noob Saibot. The second one is the Sub Zero we have been playing as since MK2. I guess the only logical conclusions would be that the cyborg version is a "what if" scenario and non canonical, or that at some point in this game's story Sub Zero is captured and turned into a cyborg after all.  "
