I got into it, it's totally more 'splosion man. It also has the best tutorial in a game ever "Meet Debbie... she's a stupid $%£!"

So much insane shit to talk about and theres only two levels. The online seems to be full of griefing and quitting.

I am downloading it right now, pretty excited about it

Just played the first single player level. Can't wait for the full game. The first one was an instant classic in my eyes.

Hit up mdnytecartunr if you want to try out the multiplayer. Tried one match last night with three randoms, really forces you to work together. Look forward to trying it out with people who can do so!

I'm also reminded I need to go back and get the achievement for finishing the game without dying in each level. I did the first two worlds I believe then stopped.

I'm in, but I cannot connect to any games. I sit waiting while a current round is in progress and then when they are done it thinks for a moment and then tells me I've lost the connection to the other players. I tried a dozen times yesterday and another 6 today. I've now given up for a bit. Going to poke at it later to see if I can figure something out, otherwise I'll try to report my issue and that will be the end of my experience apparently.

I finally got around to playing through the single player portion of the beta, and I'm digging it just as much as the previous 'splosion based game.

I really like that Ms. Splosion Man spouts off lines from pop songs instead of lines from action movies. Also, I've got to say, the Beard Engine intro is probably my favorite part of the whole thing.

I love the "your move, Unreal" Beard intro. I went to the Twisted Pixel panel at PAX East and they showed us that video because they thought it wouldn't be able to be in the game so the panel would have to be the only time people got to see it. Looks like they got to use it after all! Unless the final version of the game removes it, which would really suck.

First one I got in the dude just kept jumping in place, second one just kept walking off edges.

Head's up: 2 new multiplayer levels now available in the beta, 1-14 and 2-12. 
 
Edit: Can barely ever find other people to play with though; anyone in the beta feel free to hit me up. 
 
Edit again: These levels are awesome! There's some really fun new mechanics and traps involved, really nice to see if you were worried that Ms. might be a bit re-hashy.
 
@buft: You'll also be glad to know that the shoes are most definitely different in each level. Multi 1-14 has a pair of spurred boots as the pickup!

Not sure if anyone's still reading this, but the multiplayer levels 1-15 and 3-1 are now available to beta players.
