And those pussy ass street games ain't got nothing on 2K basketball games if you know how to play. Otherwise, it's boring as hell.
 
Haven't played 2K11, so can't comment. I need to try that demo.

Sixers are all right. At least you have it better then I do. I just found out my Raptors are the worst team in the game. 

That review got me incredibly excited about playing 2K11 when I first saw it. Thing is, I was so set on settling on 2K10 for the next year or two since I'm satisfied enough with My Player mode as it is presented in that game, but all the crazy hype being thrown around the new one, and all the positive things I've read about it, have convinced me to keep it active on Goozex where hopefully I can get it pretty soon. I've flipped games for tons of value on that website over the past few years so I can afford to pay too much for a sports game I will [potentially] love to death.  edit: And I have NBA Jam for the Wii to keep me occupied until then.

That's pretty insane...the last one I played was 2k9 and it was pretty mediocre overall.

My brother told me that the game was very good. I don't play sport games like most real gamers, however that's what he said.

I'm an avid 2K player, ive seen it all, and been through every installement. In the past 2K has been slowly pushing the bar that wasnt really ever too exciting, especially for me. Never did a 2K game make my jaw drop and made me want to play until the wee hours of the morning... on a work night.

Hmm. I wasn't too impressed by the demo to be honest, but I'll have to give it a try if everyone is saying that it is so good.

Played the demo, did not pop out to me as the "greatest sports of this generation". And 2K10 sucked, so I don't know about these claims. 

I played the demo and felt that it didn't impress me too much either. I ended up getting the game anyway because of the Michael Jordan aspect. Boy am I glad I did. Best basketball game I've ever played.....probably even best sports game I've ever played. More than worth it if you like basketball. 

This thread angers me due to my poor-ness. God dammit. Uggggh. I'm gonna go sell all my effin' games to buy 2K11.

I have been really wanting to get this game. Haven't gotten a basketball game since 2K7 but this one looks really good and has reviewed well. Stuck deciding between this and New Vegas but knowing me, I'll probably just end up getting both.
