" I think it`s BS because there`s only one screen. 3DS. Not 3OS "
Anyway, I still call BS.
I know "it" emulates two screens, but it still only has one. I don't see why they'd advertise it as a dual-screen system just because it can emulate it. lol, it's still bogus." @Tricks73r said:

" I know it emulates two screens, but it still only has one. I don't see why they'd advertise it as a dual-screen system just because it can emulate it. "They never said that DS stands for dual-screen, and they've not started advertising the 3DS yet. They haven't even unveiled it yet.
Really ugly, and the screen looks like it would snap off that tiny control pad thing with little force.
I can see this being an mock up, obviously just to get the guts together in a shell so there is something real to show devs. It'll get made pretty down the road, and then made prettier again with new colours after a year and then have a few new functions added another year down the line with even more colours.....
I'm enjoying how a large number of people think of the name 3DS as 3 DS and not 3D S.
" @agentboolen said:lol just because it hasn't improved doesn't mean it's fake...love how you can randomly draw conclusions." Oh boy another hand held system with only 1 analog stick...... FAKE!!!! "The Playstation Move? "
Also, looks fake as hell, but if it's not, the control pad shit is way too small, no way i can put 2 hands on that comfortably unless it turns out to be fucking huge. It already looks too big for me, i want to be able to put it into a pocket easily like the DS lite or the old SP.
I also have no idea why they wouldn't have gone with 2 analogs/nubs but as i said, doesn't necessarily mean its fake.
Wait, wasn't that meant to be mockup?
" @MrKlorox said:i'm just saying it because with how much crap sony has taken for making the PSP only 1 analog I would think no company would go that direction again. Thats just one thing I find odd about this design." @agentboolen said:lol just because it hasn't improved doesn't mean it's fake...love how you can randomly draw conclusions. At first I thought it was fake, but now I'm convinced it's the real deal. Sure, there's only one screen, but notices how it splits the screen in two, like if the screens on the DS didn't have a barrier to divide them. I'm intrigued. The buttons and everything look small as heck, though that's what Nintendo has been going for lately.
Stopped reading after the line "According to an obscure Japanese website – Munch Blog"...
" @DystopiaX said:It's not like companies have made stupid design choices before... they're not perfect and Nintendo has made blunders with this shit in the past. They are renders. good ones but they are renders. Nintendo never actually confirmed DS stood for dual screen either (although it obviously does) so they can get away with having one screen and keeping the DS product name if they really wanted. in my opinion they should just call it the Nintendo Infinitron.....however ive thought every console should be called that from the beginning of time so...
Also if this did turn out to be the real deal that means nintendo have gone and forgot all the sexy consumer electronics design skills they appear to have picked up over the last few years. Then again they need a reason for a 3DSlite ;-)
" @DystopiaX: Yea of course companies have made mistakes with designs, but when one makes a mistake usually others don't follow those mistakes expecting different out comes. For the 3ds it sounds like that one slipped, we all know when companies workers go to bars and have a few drinks information gets out ;) "I highly doubt this is the 3DS, simply because it looks like a piece of shit- small ass controls, thick as console, lack of screen division. Anyway, you're acting like Sony believes the PSP's 1 analog is a mistake when clearly they don't; they haven't even mentioned that topic and it's been 5 FUCKING YEARS. While you and I think the lack of a 2nd nub is a mistake, don't act like Sony and Nintendo do 100% as well.
It would make sense that the 3D version of the DS would be a slider in some way, as most cell phones nowadays happen to be sliders. This would be bringing the DS up to the current standards that most portable devices seem to be following, as well as offering it up in a color similar to the Wii brand - white.
As for the actual mock-ups, though...I just don't think they are very real. There's an image showing off a form of 3D on the Game Informer, but the problem is that most of the 3D tech without glasses can't really do angles like the picture shown on the link provided.
In the end, though, I think it's an intriguing idea...but do we really want to see ass-ugly graphics from the DS in 3D? lol
DS means Dual Screen." DS doesn't mean anything. Just like KFC doesn't mean anything. "
3DS means 3 Dimensional Screens.
KFC means Kentucky Fri....oh wait you were sarcastic.

Just like the GBA games couldn't use both screens or Gamecube games use motion control.
