    Great time waster

Peggle is deceiving simple. At first you think it’s almost too simple that it won’t be able to hold your interest. As hours and hours pass by, only then do you realize the true greatness of this simple puzzler.

This game won’t blow you away visually. The graphics are passable but they could be better. But what makes this game great is not the graphics.

The charm of this game comes from its game play. What it comes down to is you aiming and shooting a small marble at a bunch of pegs and hoping for the best. That’s it. Sounds stupid simple doesn’t it? There are some twists. For example, you have green pegs that if you hit activate your selected animals’ special power. There are also purple pegs that score you more points and so on. But the true enjoyment of this game is watching your little marble bounce around and zooming in as you hit the last peg. It is indescribable the amount of joy you will feel at this moment when the overly epic music starts to play to signify your victory.

If you like puzzle games you should definitely check this one out. You might also consider this game is on multiple platforms and might probably be better suited for mobile gaming. I also purchased the Nintendo DS version after initially playing this and it is basically identical except for slightly downgraded graphics. Don’t be deterred because of the simple concept. Even the most hardcore of gamers can enjoy this one.

Fans of the series will be pleased to know that not much has been lost in the translation to Xbox 360, and if players unfamiliar with the series can look past its cutesy exterior, they’ll find a deep and skillful game that deserves any gamer’s attention. At first ...

I’ll say it straight up: If you’ve never played some form ofPeggle, you aren’t a gamer. Sure, Halo is a great game series, the Grand Theft Autofranchise broke ground for all open-world games and theGears of War games have upped the grittiness for first-person shooters, butPeggle is in a class of its own. It’s one of those contests that’s simple, yet complex; soothing, yet infuriating; and gorgeous, yet nasty. If you’re nodding your head uncontrollably after reading the last paragraph, you’ll als...
