If there is no 80GB then your just left with the 40GB, or there could be some 60GB refurbished but I would rather have something that is new.

It depends on how interested in this game you honestly are, I think LBP is definitely the kind of game that can sell a PS3 alone, but I'd say if you know any friends what so ever that have one or even maybe sometimes the gamestops have demos of games in their stores, play it first and see what you think of it completely before throwing down the money on a new console. Sorry also I gave the best response I can think of..I'm also pretty sure that because of the way you typed that it cut off part of your post..it appears so at least.

I would pick up a 60GB PS3 if you can find one cheap. I think LBP is definitely the first game for the system that is worthy of being called a system seller. I think this game is going to be real special.

No real disadvantages. Switching a hard drive takes less than 10 minutes.

The thing about the 80 gigs is that you might like the backwards compatibility. Which isn't to say you can't upgrade the hard drive on an 80 gigabyte version, but it'll be more expensive, although worth it (in my opinion) just to have storage for whatever you need.

LBP looks extremely bland to me. Not the creating a stage part, but the gameplay. I would never get a PS3 just for that game.

A bunch of platforming and puzzle solving, mixed with an amazing story, epic boss battles and gorgeous graphics. Throw in multiple weapons and costumes and features and you have a game that is amazing and on par with MGS4...almost."

Prince of Persia is awesome, DMC is great(not legendary though) but God of War?! It is a BEAT-EM-UP! The boss fights are as interesting as the ones in force unleashed. You beat up the gigantic bastard then press some buttons at the right time and boom boss is gone. It is probably the best in it's category but not paired with MGS4 by a long shot."

The boss fights might not been repetitive but the rest of the game was. It just isn't comparable to MGS4. But why are we arguing? These are just opinions.
