If this really was the BIG announcement then I have to say it's pretty worthless. This doesn't make me all happy in my pants...but I do believe this isn't the real announcement. I mean, come on...really?

I don't know what this is, but the screens from Hardware: Online Arena look interesting.

It's a sequel to a lame game that game with the PS2 network adapter.

I missed this announcement... but this really is exciting news.  Incog is the developer of Warhawk and I'm a die-hard Warhawk fan! It sounds like an updated version of what they are doing with Warhawk... and they've been doing things right with that game.  They listen to the gamers... make adjustments to the game as needed.  If Incog is doing a new game - it IS good news for PS3 owners!

... I just hope that it's more than a rumour!

If Incog is making the game, I'm sure they'll take everything they learned from Warhawk and use it!  I would suspect that they will have some form of offline mode though - Warhawk was highly criticized for not having any form of training mode for offline.  At the very least, I'm sure that they would use bots this time if they didn't go all out and do some form of shorter offline campaign.  I suspect the majority would be online though.

They have the controls down... their vehicles are some of the easiest and most intuitive I've ever used in a game.  If they can add destructability and flying body parts - I'm there! :)

Was expecting more but hey, hope its good... Wish it was more WH style though.

In the text description (yeah sony is getting a ton of shooters,and if you're tired of this miltary themes game of course it sounds underwhelming) Its described gameplay sounds really good,(also if you put a voice over it,it would seem like some kind of infomercial I think)but of course until more information and screenshots,gameplay clips are shown,no one can be sure of anything.
