splinter cell?

i do hope its the mass effect series i think its probably the only series left on the xbox which interests me (i don't mean that in a bad way, i mean that i have played the other franchises)

Now that I'm sitting back thinking about this, anyone think this could possibly be an Arcade title, something like Braid?

I hope it isn't, but it is something to think about.

I would think Mass Effect. EA already stated they were mulling over the idea of porting it to the PS3. Although now that I think  about it, Left 4 Dead 2 seems to be a better possiblity only because I don't think Microsoft ever signed an agreement with Valve.

Left 4 Dead most likely because Orange Box also came to PS3 pretty late. Mass Effect... maybe.

$ony also goes pretty low at times.

Lets face it there are so many games people would love to see come to the PS3 that are currently xbox exclusive. A lot of them are not owned by microsoft too.
At the moment Sony have next to no third party exclusives vs what microsoft offers. Some balance happening maybe?

My bet would be Mass Effect prior to the release of ME2 on both systems similtaneously. I would like it to be Alan Wake though.

I was gonna say Shadow Complex but the article words it like it's a sequel.

Edit:  I should have said 'established game' rather than sequel.

VALVE dislike to make games on the ps3, so the next exclusive gone with the wind will be mass effect 2 (i hope)

My guess is either Mass Effect or Left 4 Dead 2.

Valve isn't going to put the effort into L4D on the PS3, I think so it would have to be an EA port of that title.

My guess is Splinter Cell: Conviction.

My bet says it's Star Ocean. I'd like to say Mass Effect as well but that's not really a X360 game, it is on PC as well remember.

It's probably going to be something lame. Though if its Mass Effect then I will probably sell my 360.

it's gotta be Halo or Gears. That's the only thing that makes any modicum of sense. Really, you have to believe me!!

Mass Effect 1/2 and Left for Dead 2 make sense so I'm gonna go with Gears.

i'd venture a guess at either splinter cell or mass effect, as both ips are owned by big companies that typically publish multiplatform. i'd personally be delighted if either came to ps3, especially ME though because the first is one of my all time faves but i no longer have a 360. i could also reasonably see L4D2 coming out on ps3, because there are often rumors about valve products coming to ps3.

They said the title was releasing around the end of the year, which makes me think it'll be l4d2. EA had  a ps3 version upon thier l4d2 page for a while too. And they said the company has more good news for later on, which could mabye have something to do with Ep. 3?

I get the feeling this is going to end up being completely mundane and uninteresting.

Still, who knows, maybe it'll end up being something like Splinter Cell or ME. It's certainly not going to be Banjo-Kazooie, Halo or something along those lines, what with their deals with MS... (See that? I typed out MS without using the $ symbol.)

Meh. I'll pay more attention next time. Doesn't bother me if it's Mass Effect anyway. I've already got it on 360 but it'd be good for all those people with only a PS3 because it's one of the best games ever.

Why is this news again?  It's probably Left 4 Dead 2 seeing as how EA publishes that game on consoles.  I think they even said something to that effect around E3.

Probably L4D2 or Mass Effect, if anything.

I'm going to say ...L4D2, perhaps? If that's the case, I'm also going to go ahead and say it will be a shoddy port.
