I really hope they're just been keeping everything under wraps. I've heard that someone found some code that hints towards 13 maps in the beta files, which sounds like a good number to me.

With weapons, I don't really expect that much more, it wouldn't surprise me if there's 1-2 guns per type (AR, SMG, Shotgun, etc). I think I would be fine with that, assuming there's enough perks and such to allow some customization.

I'm assuming there's only the three Titan types. They've already got light, medium, and heavy, so they've covered the basics. It would be nice to see even one more, but I'm not really expecting much.

@vextroid:

From what I've heard, it's the same full game. They call it the Windows 8 version, because it requires Windows 8, sadly.

After (what I've heard of) Judgement (which I've honestly never played), I'm kind of skeptical about more Gears, but I really loved Gears 3, and actually liked Halo 4, so hopefully Microsoft can pull it off.

I have no idea what they can do for the story, they've already basically finished the story for the trilogy, and they've already done a flashback game. I'm not sure how I would feel about dealing with the Pendulum Wars, maybe in a RAAM's Shadow type dlc would be cool, but I agree that it wouldn't be Gears without the Locust (or something similar?).

For every meat sandwich. Every time. Nothing else is valid. (wait no, sometimes bacon goes above the cheese.)

Before I read your post I was going to say Quarian/Krogan, real crazy that people would want to get rid of them.

I think this makes perfect sense if they raise the score back up when (if?) things eventually get fixed. Unless it was broken when they reviewed it and still gave it that score, it wouldn't be fair to change the score when it broke then not change it when they fixed it. If a user goes to check a review score, it doesn't matter to them if the game USED to be broken, but of course people can't go back to re-review every game after every patch.

I'm planning on bringing in my 360. It's a launch era model that's dying. The fan sounds like a jet engine, it often doesn't read disks, and now it's even starting to scratch them. Only problem is that it'll be a little bit before I upgrade to nextgen, but it'll probably still be way worth it. I'm hoping to keep as much stuff as possible if they'll let me, hopefully the harddrive and controllers.

I was stuck on those guys for way too long. I was using heavy armor with a shield and a +5 Black Knight Sword. I spent a long time grinding souls to upgrade my gear and skills by killing the knights and the two royal sentinels, then stopping at the blacksmith to buy any upgrade items I needed, then looping back to the bonfire, getting over 10k souls each time if I went the shortest way, ignoring most of the knights.

@lackingsaint:

The time limit doesn't start until AFTER you get the IFF. When you get the mission, finish everything else first. You don't get Legion until that mission, so I believe the general progression of the game is something like:

Recruit Some Dudes/Loyalty Missions --> Recruit More Dudes/Loyalty Missions --> Finish Loyalty Missions --> Do IFF Mission {TIME LIMIT STARTS} --> Legion's Loyalty Mission --> End Game
