@RsistncE: i know that. But games like GTAIV and MGS4 and well...most PS3 games do support 1080p. I have to manually set my ps3 to 1080p in the display options. It never optimizes it.

i always get it to 720p automatically but my TV and most of the games i am playing are capable of 1080p. I wonder...
