@mister_v: If you have/make a free curse.com account you can grab a key for a beta this weekend. I did and can't wait to check it out.

I guess this came out on Steam, did anyone pick it up? A 2d Batman metroidvania sounds like something I'd be really into, but buggy at launch seems to be the norm for these games now.

@mosdl: Do you ever find yourself wishing you'd gone for the U2413? I'm looking at adding a second monitor and I have a U2410 which I could probably keep as the primary and still have features like HDMI, so the extra price for the 2413 probably isn't worth it to me. Also had I seen the $229 price I might have just pulled the trigger. They're $275 right now looks like.

Is there any way to get live premium streams onto a TV short of running HDMI from a computer? I see that Chromecast has a Chrome plugin that supposedly just streams whatever's in your browser, so I thought about trying that.

I haven't played Origins yet and I really liked the other 2 games, but I don't know how I feel about the implications having a car has on the size and scope of the game. Even though Arkham City had a technically "open world", the feel and scale was such that everything seemed designed and hand-placed, especially when you consider how it integrated in with the puzzles and collectibles. I don't want to explore some large area if it's as boring as most open world games feel in comparison. That's a pretty small nitpick though, and I'm at the very least looking forward to learning more about the game closer to its release.

Okay the game's live. Anyone in the US region down to make a community or clan?

@subjugation: Depending on when you played last, Inferno had been adjusted down to be a more smooth and reasonable curve. They added a monster power system that you could use to bump up the difficulty higher too. But more importantly, in 2.0, they got rid of the normal > nightmare > hell > inferno static difficulty progression. Everything's dynamic to your level now, and you can select a difficulty at any point, though the later ones might require you to get to beat the game once on any character or get to 60 first.

Also just based on the gear I found in my short time on the PTR, I had meaningfully upgraded every slot pretty quickly, even though I had gotten stuff off the gold AH in the live game previously.

Cool, I know what I'm playing later tonight. I was going to ask if anyone had made a Giant Bomb community or clan, but looks like the servers aren't up for another 3 hours at least.

Probably Final Fantasy 9. For the most part, older games are 2d and have aged better, and many newer games got HD collections.
