Should be fine. My old 5770 ran Borderlands perfectly well.

You might not be able to run with everything at Full, but you'll be ok with most stuff on medium :)

I use a headset it I want to talk to people. I've never used the 360 headset though. :)

HDMI Extension + 6 FT Usb extension.. to a nice 60" screen at the end of my bed. I'll be gamepadding it up!

Honestly - You can build a PC using not much more than a Screwdriver. Make sure to touch a radiator to ground yourself before starting, and touch the case occasionally as you build.

Every piece in a PC will fit together with reasonable simplicity. Honestly - I was terrified the 1st time, but after that it becomes fairly easy, after you've done it once it's much simpler to do it again :)

It will, just turn some graphics down and you should be brilliantly coloured. :)

I don't see how it can be to "late" at all. Infact you're probably better off buying one now than you were buying it when it came out. I mean look at all the cheaper games you'll be able to find! Plus the fact you will have a far bigger library of titles to choose from, so yeah.. I think right now is a great time to get a Wii! :D
