After watching the fiasco of the site going to paid and the uproar and not understanding what the other sites were about.. It took me this long to get off my ass, scrape together 50$'s and toss it towards the whiskey crew.  Subscriber or not, it's your choice, but after getting to know the crew a bit b watching them every day of the week, 50$'s is the least I could do to show my appreciation.  So here's to Brad, Ryan, Jeff, Vinny, Will, Norm, and all the others that make the shows incredible, and keep me coming back daily to see what's new.  Thanks. ^^

This week has been really very special for GiantBomb. If I weren't in the doghouse funds-wise at the moment, I'd be a yearly subscriber myself. 
 
But I'm also not buying Bulletstorm or a 3DS anymore, so I should definitely get there by the end of March!

I recently expanded out to other Whiskey podcasts... and it turns out Norm is a pretty cool guy!

I'm on the fence about the whole subscribing thing. On one hand I want to support the guys for all the content, but I just feel like the service that is offered by being a member is just so insultingly terrible that I can't. There is literally not one aspect of it that is of use to me, and I don't want to support a service like that by saying I'm ok with it. I just don't feel they are offering any kind of service that is worth the $50. 
 
Plus, I have been unemployed for over 5 years now so I don't have a penny to my name even if I did want to. I guess I will just keep paying for one month every 4-5 months to marathon the Friday shows, but once hell freezes over and I come into some money that I can throw away I will get a yearly sub and just think of it as a donation for all the free stuff.

I never understand this whole "Well, I'm not getting much for my money so why subscribe?" thing. I've always seen the free content as what you're putting money towards. That 8 hours of video a week is the biggest thing to subscribe for, because they need money to keep putting that out.
 
Sure you can get that stuff for free, but subscribing is what gives them a reason to do it. That's good enough for me, although gotta admit HD videos are sweeeet.
