Our Giant Bomb is being whittled away. Tiny Bomb DX. All these people going and nobody coming. I have this terrifying feeling of a Giant Bomb + Gamespot merger in the pit of my stomach :{
@peezmachine: My bad then. Your OP reads more like: "Anyone want to make a game with me?" rather than "I'm making a game. I need X and Y. Anyone interested?" Not sure what input you're looking for in this thread though as just about every major framework and language has either been recommended, discouraged, or both. In any case, gl! A modern Windjammers would be pretty awesome.
Not to try and be a downer or anything, but these group efforts usually never end very well. They really need someone in charge making decisions and calling shots.
Also, why are these threads always started by programmers instead of artists?
@fattony12000: I tried and got nadda. My main pull was gonna be raffling off a hearthstone beta key, but that got me $7. Anywho, thanks for the donation, I really appreciate it! About 30m ago I was like man this wasn't so bad, but now I'm ready to die lol. 2 hours left.
@marokai: You know what would be even better? If people searched the forums before creating new threads. In this case, the OP would have discovered the 800 threads that already exist on this board discussing Anita Sarkeesian. Then, after reading them, they'd discover the video and topic they were going to start a thread about had already been discussed to death.
Even if you care about this discussion, it's a shit thread. Zero effort went into creating it and it brings absolutely nothing new to the table. Feel free to keep holding on to your delusions for dear life though.
I think this mostly comes down to personal preference. It's sort of the same as what make of car you prefer. With how much money you spend on that one component you only need to get bitten once to jump ship. I used to go with ATI back in the day, but eventually ended up with one card that was just a nightmare of problems. Switched to Nvidia and thankfully haven't had any issues since. Honestly, the price is worth the ease of mind for me.
