Yes,it is worth it,quite an amazing expansion,and the series in general.

So...it´s just a pinball table instead of the whole Sonic 2 level? :(

The only stage where I had a few issues was in the 2D Chemical Plant but otherwise the game runs flawlessly on the PC,and it looks amazing.

I honestly wouldn´t even consider the console versions for this game(BF3),the PC version is the only way to go as far as I´m concerned. 
Same for Skyrim because in general,Bethesda games only get really good with mods(like Oblivion).

That´s pretty nice of them to do that.

There is loot in the form of weapons and ammo,including weapons that may not be available in the armory earlier. 
To make new weapons available in any armory,you have to buy them in the temple. 
To get the "medkits",research the medkit first and then it´s available in the armory in the form of a sirynge(page 8).
