I had the music cut out after a long session (PS3), I'm wondering if it's connected to playing the downloadable version or not though. Might just be me being paraniod about it after GTA 5, but considering the machine weren't meant to play games fully from the HD it wouldn't be that surprising. Have had a fair amount of loading times when flying around the city (which seems like something that would've been a high priority to polish out), and one part of it always has crappy framerate. Although it's probably just the game being shoddy.

So you could tell that Nolan North was Penguin? I find the voice he goes with for that character is completely different from his usual VA roles and I would have not known that it was him if I didn't read somewhere that he is in the Arkham games as the Penguin.

Not hating on the guy, but Nolans Penguin is pretty spotty and really easy to recognize. He goes from over-delivering to under-delivering all the time, even mid-sentence.

@village_guy: Sounds to me like it's more of a policy issue, or MS just failing at getting the games out to reviewers. Basically something completely unrelated to how good/bad the games are.

Sorry for taking the thread to a dark place, but you could theoretically just eat the same thing day out and day in. You would probably feel like shit after a while and get loads of health problems, but you also have to remember that our standards for living makes it so we expect humans to live way longer than we would naturally if we didn't "pamper" ourselves. So ye, that's what people are doing to their pets, giving them shitty food because they're ok with their pets not living unnaturally long lives.

(on a more realistic note, their species are probably better evolved to have a less varied diet as most animals doesn't really have that much of a choice in what to eat.)

I saw this trailer somewhere else and it said it was a TV spot. Do people actually get commercials like this on their TV ?

While I wouldn't say Gamespot is filled with likeable people I think you guys are being a bit too harsh. Kevin VanOrd, Chris Watters and Ryan McDonald are all pretty decent when they can do their own thing. Even Shaun McInnis and Peter Brown has their bright moments.

Theft = taking something someone else spent money/work on producing.

Piracy = reproducing something someone else holds the rights to reproduce.

They are very different things, as one is a practical offence while the other one is a theoretical one.

The way it's worded sounds really weird to me. It could mean a lot of different things really. He probably meant bought it, but even then it doesn't say much without a statistic of the 96% others. If he had said 96% of the people playing the game pirated it there would've been some reason for concern, but I'm not really sure that would be a true statement.

I think you need to take a deep breath and realize not everyone is as into graphics as you are =) Resolution is an easy to understand general rule of thumb that in the past has shown to be fairly accurate as far as describing how impressive games look. For the average console gamer most of it probably comes from the fact that resolution has been marketed heavily during the current generation due to the HD upgrade.

@bocam: I don't really wanna name and shame. I'll try an analogy. Remember when the GB guys read forum posts from like 10+ years ago and they were really stupid ? Now imagine being in that phase while also trying to make a name of yourself/making money on the internet. Or to be even more cliche about it, "there's no such things as bad press".
