@Napalm: I did try going back to slot 1 first and it was a no go. Wouldn't load chapter 3 (froze every time on some screen that asks about rewinding - gave me a no or yes option with no button prompts) and looking at the stats from chapter 2 would also freeze the game (only showed red bars with no descriptions of the choices and no buttons would work to back me out to the previous menu had to go to the dashboard and reload the game.
@Napalm: Copied from Slot 1 to 3. Loaded 3 and got same glitch as playing from Slot 1 - Straight up would not load episode 3 and also froze me out when I opened up the stat menu on slot 3 - just showed red bars and had to press the xbox button and go back to dashboard. After that I Copied Slot 1 to 2. Loaded up 2 and was able to load play the episode although there was a crazy long load time (nearly 5 minutes). So now I have 3 full slots. Im gonna try to play from slot 1 and 3 tonight (let you know how that goes) but it works from slot 2 for me.
@Napalm: Thanks for the copying tip. Worked for me after failing from slot 3, worked in slot 2. Too bad there are so many bugs, hopefully there is a patch out by the time im ready for a second play through.
Copied save to slot 3 and tried to play from there didn't work, same issues as on slot 1. Copied original save from slot 1 to slot 2, loaded that one up and it works despite initial extremely long load. I guess I should keep all the save files (dont want to delete one and they brake everything) and finish the series from slot 2 for now then delete them all and replay (with different choices) from slot 1 and hope it works all the way through next time or at least they may have a patch by then.
But anyways I guess it doesn't need to be in slot 3
You could pick any one of those spoof shows to continue on with and it would be incredible! Honestly, I've always loved these guys (back at gamespot to arrow pointing down :) to what this site has become). Quite frankly I cant imagine a world in which we didn't have Giant Bomb. The personal touch to everything these guys do it what keeps me here and will continue to do so! I would watch (and pay for) a webisode series for any of those shows (particularly liked Roomies and the Cop Show). Anyways enough gushing over this site. @Demoskinos: Thanks for the tip i'll give it a try tonight cause god dam I couldn't stop playing! Even though I didn't trust those fucking brothers from the beginning and I figured out what was going on (i.e. The Road) its still an unbelievable series! I hope this works and I can move on the episode 3 soon.
Same happened for me and I bought the disc version in stores. Started noticing some minor hitches and slow downs in episode 1 then things got progressively worse throughout episode 2 (audio not being said by characters but mouth moving) and by the end of the 2 the game was struggling to even run. Got the same stat screen glitch red bars and no comparative %'s. Now i can progress to episode 3 either!!! No idea whats going on or how to fix. Maybe need an update but Im not connected to the internet right now. Sooo bummed
