Have more fun with school, you will like it more and do far better. Learning is great once you have the right attitude.

Play more games, spend more evenings with friends, etc. There isn't nearly enough time as an adult for all that.

Oh and ask out all the girls. Getting turned down means nothing in the long run, neither does only having brief things. Just run with it

I felt urged to make a quick contribution. I hope this has not been done better before; it is a tad obvious.

I have scratched this itch before. You have a sweet deal if you can return the games, but otherwise the main problem with this is you start paying money for junk gaming when there are a great number of titles that are really good you could be playing.

Essentially these stories are the reason I don't program videogames for a living.

Doing a lot of Sivir lately, games can either go amazing or horrible as she is really item dependent. Most games nobody wants to tank so I also have been playing lots of Armor Malphite

So are they doing daily deals again. Some of these prices are already pretty good. But OMG if they get better :D

One thing I have actually considered doing that seemed unfathomable to me before is the idea of taking gaming vacations. Not like a week or anything, but taking a Friday off here or there when my gf is at work to sit and game. Usually this ends in disaster and I just do chores and go shopping instead of gaming, but the thought is nice.

I work from home often and that can allow me to sneak in an hour game of something often. Despite this I'm often more productive when I work from home...

This is the reality of getting old. I can't game as much as I would like, especially since my significant other doesn't game outside of a few arcade games and dance central. More importantly I've had to learn to game an hour at a time instead of just sitting and playing for hours on end. Sometimes it takes me months to finish a game and with the exception of my absolute favorite franchises I'm now mostly a budget gamer because I know I won't get around to the games day one...

I recommend making sure you spend your gaming time doing the stuff you enjoy. i have been chasing achievements and trying to play every new big release like I used to and its frustrating. Since my gaming time is more limited I'm moving to playing fewer titles but spending more time with them doing the time of things that I find enjoyable. That or make the decision to just run through a game as fast as possible knowing that you will miss some of the experience, but thats all time allows for.

Lastly, my biggest advice is to keep playing with others. I used to LAN party, have Saturday night console nights, etc and I let that slip away and its the gaming I miss the most. Gaming with others IRL is some of the most fun and make sure to make time to play with buddies. Cooping over the net is fun, but not entirely as enjoyable. I'm considering actively seeking out new gamers in my area to get a bi-weekly type of night going since I'm really missing this....
