Madness!  There's also a version on Newgrounds too.

This is the crap that happens when you get bored.  You google "burger game" and that pops up.

Well what about like, a philly steak & cheese sub?  Is that not really just a sandwich?

Oh god more complication...

Seriously though, as much as i'd never really considered a hamburger to be a sandwich -- the only real argument of the "hamburger is not a sandwich" crowd is that if the meat between the bread is ground beef then it isn't a sandwich, and that's a pretty lame argument I think.  I mean even Webster's says it's a sandwich.  Now, to be right, you have to DISPROVE Webster's (which would be totally awesome -- someone should try).

I was just talking about this yesterday!  Yes, mustard is totally ridiculously disgusting.  It's one of the few things I even hate the smell of.  Ketchup on the other hand...

But, my dad hated ketchup and LOVED mustard, so, one of these days i'm fully expecting my taste buds to give me the double bird and walk out on me.

Guitar, Bass (i've even taken a lick at upright -- which EVERYONE should at least take a picture of themselves at least holding an upright bass, you'll at least have one really cool picture of yourself that way, especially if you're in a suit), Piano, Saxophone, Recorder (if you want to count it -- hot cross buns damnit!), and i'm slowly but surely learning drums.

I also do music recording/programming and such, have a B.A. that says I can run a live sound board, and currently working on getting similar pieces of paper that say I can run a studio sound board and that i'm a master of ProTools.

Firefox 3 -- but I have to use the IE tab extension if I want to do anything that requires uploading an image to the site.  ONCE the browse images button as popped up in Firefox, then it ran away and it has yet to be seen again...

Bumping this, maybe irrelevantly -- my post count is still at zero.  I've posted mostly in off-topic and general discussion.  I'm not exactly freaking out over it, but, it's annoying.

EDIT:  Apparently you need to complain about your post count to get it to work right -- i've posted 2 or 3 messages tonight prior to this and my post count didnt go up... but I post this, and then my VERY next post is counted.  Go figure.

After listening to Bombcast the other night, I got to thinking about how Jeff was discussing advertising on the site, and how it sounds like nothing's been really hammered down for sure with the exception of "yes, ads are coming".  Seeing as (amazingly, and thankfully) this site is trying to be as user-driven as possible, I wanted to throw out this idea in a place where the community AND the mods/site owners could see it...

Anyway -- with how the site is incredibly wiki-fied, and a place where I can get literally more than the amount of information I need about a game... the last thing i'd need to make Giant Bomb LITERALLY a one-stop-shop is to add simple "click here to purchase this game" links.  I'd be totally cool with them being large, on the main wiki page on the review space too.  That gives me more than one opportunity to purchase a game, and shoud make the selling company happy because of a larger ad (rather than say something on the side of GS that I really don't even think about).  Add in bonus codes for a percentage or a few dollars off 1 or 2 games by typing in "LUCHADEER" at my checkout and i'm set!  Yes, I know some other sites already use these, but they always seem tacked on and not incorporated into the actual site.  Maybe you could even have stats that say how many Giant Bomb users recommend the purchase (or have purchased X item through Giant Bomb), and if Jeff/Ryan/Vinny/Brad really reccommend a game -- they completely have the space to show it!

Even better though -- and I don't know if something like this even really exists -- but maybe there could be some sort of eBay partnership or something for old games that you can't find on store shelves anymore?  I know that once the database fills up I could totally lose DAYS browsing this site looking up random information on old obscure NES games or something, and if I had a spot to purchase them, that would be awesome.

The really cool thing about this place is it totally has the opportunity to be the ONLY site I go to for all my game related needs and info, and something like that would totally finish the whole deal.  Plus, how sweet would it be to enter "LUCHADEER" as a coupon code?

Am I the only one that really thinks Clone Wars looks just bad?

I'm pretty much psyched about everything else that's been listed here but that...  I've had long talks with friends about it who say the same thing, and they don't like the animation style, but i've got no problem with it.  To me, it's just totally bothersome that the characters have faces that are pretty expressionless the entire time.  Seriously -- look at the lightsaber fights -- it's a bunch of sword swinging wth flat faces.  If an actor was doing that, they'd at least be scrunching up or reacting to something.

Most excited for Tropic Thunder from here on out though, I haven't seen a Ben Stiller movie i've been like amped for in a long time (Night at the Museum was fun, but I can't say I was like, really looking forward to seeing it), and considering i'm pretty sick of most of the popular movie comedians these days (i'm looking at you Will Ferrell), it's pretty cool to see a movie with a guy i've previously been sick of looking pretty good.

But hell -- screw 2008!  -- how about that WATCHMEN trailer?!  I was freaking jumping out of my seat and Dark Knight hadn't even started yet!

Just seconding this exact same problem, i'm also using Firefox 3.0.1 -- Windows XP Pro.

For clarification -- for me, the browse button doesn't even come up at all, it just stays at the loading bar image.
