I hope future episodes feature better games (space marine or singularity are both GREAT pulls, and also pretty damn good games), and also way less discussion of what a B-game is. it's an opinion, and opinions are not facts. just reasserting "this is a b-game" "this is not a b-game" felt pretty tiresome to me by the end of this episode, and i feel that part of the gag has worn out its welcome 3 episodes in. The idea of playing sub-AAA games is a good one, the navel gazing less so.
@dr_mel: I suspect that's because a lot of outlets are staffed by people that are older than the smash loving community. I think that as everyone hires in fresh talent you may find other places accrue that knowledge as well.
Been playing this on pc, runs just fine. no fancy hi res textures, unfortunately, but the game looks fine. I tend to play the game the way I play all these games, which is sit on skill points until i get to an environmental puzzle that i can't get past.
Also, inventory upgrade is on the skill tree, and i took the first couple upgrades real early on (by the point brad starts in this video).
Also Edit Also: Holy shit those load times! For a game with a quick save and quick load, that level of slow load would kill a save scum stealth playthru
Rorie's rad, Rick and Morty can be pretty funny sometimes, and mebbe by next year we will have a real VR game? I guess Resident Evil was all in VR, so that's one.
Always nice to see Peter, he seems like a rad dude. I enjoyed FF8 a LOT more than he did, apparently, although to be fair I was an angsty 16 year old when that game came out over here. I replayed it a while back when it came to steam, and the old knowledge of which enemies had which magic and the specific ways to completely break that game came flooding back.
I played the vast majority of this game in beast mode and breaker/slugger. For kiryu, I never got sick of picking up guys and hitting other guys with them, and it's hard to argue against a bat. I did however utilize the secret mystical techniques of not just hammering on the square button while facing straight forward the entire fight. Despite Dan's refusal to engage with a non button mash way of fighting, I still enjoy everybody digging the story and weird japanese side stuff. Getting thru this game and kiwami seems like more than enough yakuza, if they hit the wall with the fact that 2 is a real step back tech-wise it's still a lot of fun.
Really looking forward to the fight with Kuze, that's a MOTHERFUCKER of an intro and some great music.
