" I'm tired of the corporate influence on America. "

Unfortunately business has become so closely linked with government that it's unlikely there will be a meaningful change anytime soon in the amount of influence that corporations hold over lawmaking in this country.

It seems like this election cycle has seen more candidates who claim to be "not politicians, just businessmen/women." Sadly that line probably influenced a lot of people to vote for those candidates. The culture of worship surrounding business and moneymaking in this country has misled millions of average Americans into voting against their own interests in favor of the rich elite who have been squeezing the middle and lower classes for thirty years with promises that the wealth will "trickle down."

Unbelievable that the lower and middle classes have been duped into voting against their own interests time and time again. But when both major parties are in the pockets of big business, you have to wonder how much choice we even have.

Premiere is the best you'll get on Windows for cutting and splicing together multiple video files. After Effects is more for post-production and, well, adding effects. It really doesn't work well as a video editor at all.

I work at a marketing company doing a range of IT-related stuff, including graphic design, social media, and general troubleshooting. I'm the only person in the building who knows a good bit about computers so I'm basically "the computer guy." It's a small business so it's pretty informal regarding what I'll be doing each day. At night I do freelance work in writing and editing and I'm trying to expand into doing graphic design as well and then later I'd like to open a business, maybe a publication house or a screen printing press. I've also been writing creatively since I was very young and I want to write horror stories for kids and young adults, like the Goosebumps and Fear Street books that I loved as a kid.

All the best sports teams? The majority of football talent comes from the Gulf Coast, and football is the most popular sport in the US.

D&D is fun. Don't be discouraged by the people who think it makes you a loser. In the end it's just about getting together with some friends, BSing around a table, and having fun killing stuff.

And a single session of D&D will spawn inside jokes that you'll remember for years.

Maybe you should broaden your search if you've decided that you're alright with retail work. Gamestop gets tons of applications from kids who think it would be awesome to talk about video games all day, when in reality it's just like any other retail job. You're doing the right thing by getting to know the manager personally, though; landing a job is all about who you know and your past experience. I worked part-time at Gamestop with a college degree but it was only because I had been friends with the manager since high school.

Sadly, even when you do finally get a decent job, you'll likely find that the people in positions above you are incompetent. Nepotism routinely allows people of questionable qualification to fill positions above the employees who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of a company.

Heirs to Thievery by Misery Index. Heavy Breathing by Black Breath and Unsilent Death by Nails are close though.

I hope he didn't shave it because he thought people were making fun of him. I was making jokes but I think Jeff is awesome, trash 'stache or not. :(

Considering his ever-changing wardrobe though, I think it was his subtle way of messing with the viewers. Especially because there seemed to be no acknowledgement of the clothing changes.
