" Right. TIM would just spend shitloads of money to bring Shepard back from "the dead" just to kill him again, even though the Reapers killed him. Plus, if he really was a Reaper, why would he want the "final package"? Only if he was a Rogue Reaper, in which case he probably wouldn't stand a chance against all those Reapers that were shown. "
Its a strategy that could be well played. If your biggest opponent is in your pocket, you win. Money means nothing to Reapers only the destruction of life... 5th Element?
@Venatio: I dont care what excuse is made for his eyes. Did you choose to save the Reaper ship at the end and see the IM at the end of the game? The dude is up to no good. IM could just be a turncoat, pretending like he is a friend, but strategically close to the biggest threat to the Reaper, Commander Shepard. The Reapers have been whipping out organic life for millions of years, I dont think their strategy is as primitive as "send in a bunch of ships to fight". Something like having the IM on their side seems more strategic and plausible.
I dont like that he always has intel into both sides and sends Shepard in anyway. Like he is hoping that this time he will be killed. And when he makes it, the Illusive Man just so happens to have a plausible excuse for knowing both sides.
The dudes eyes are mechanical. He is a mechanical human. He is a Reaper Human.
" Is it just me or is this podcast everyone vs Brad? "
I felt like it was Brad vs. the world here. But not in a way where I think Brad was a victim. "
Podcasts almost always feel like 'everything Jeff says goes, and Brad is ousted by majority'
To be fair, Jeff lost thw Limbo vs. Darksiders or Dance Central argument. The only bit wherw I feel Brad got shut down was thw Marston vs. York fight, where he was clearly in the minority. "
And even then it felt like Brad was just using Marston because he didn't want York getting through. I think if he really felt like Marston was worth the effort he would of gone after Bayonetta who was able to slip by because Brad was blinded by his hatred for Deadly Premonition. "
I don't think it was necessarily that. It was the fact that Jeff said 'ok it's Mordin, Bayonetta, and York' at the start. Then they x'ed out every one of Brad's choices and there's one point where he even says, 'Well why don't we eliminate any of those three?' I assume their was a problem with the fact that the three Jeff stated were basically untouchable. "
The fact that Jeff was so completely shut down in the whole Limbo debate (and VVVVVV) completely disproves this insane "what jeff says goes" thing. It's majority rules and Brad's opinions were just more often in the minority for these categories. "
Brad lost the Marston convo the second he started railing on Deadly P and not even acknowledging the good things the other guys where saying. He wasn't winning anyone over with that pouty face.
The Limbo convo was ridiculous. Jeff doesnt like it, so what. I'm glad Brad hung in there and used more reason, but he was still whining!
CE never had online support, I'd pay $ to play Team Slayer on Chill Out any time I wanted.
Also, the last time I got 8 buddies together with 2 tvs and 2 xboxs to play CE on the 360, the game was struggling to keep up when a few of us where in one room at the same time. It looked bad. Im sure a remake would bring everything up to speed.
