New Console Generation (Xbox One/PS4) -- In Order of Enjoyment -- The First 100

This list is only for games I have played.

List items

  • Love Ultimate Team, and the new passing/catching system.

  • Fucking awesome; wish there were horses.

  • Collecting things/animals/people with parachutes is addicting.

  • Plays great on the PS4, really enjoying it after all they have done to make the game awesome, after fucking it up so badly when it originally came out for PC.

  • Liked the story, and the characters, but I gave up at some point. Perhaps it's time to return to my kingdom and the movement.

  • Getting the band back together.

  • I never played any more than about 10 hours of Borderlands 1, or 2, so this is kind of my first run through. So far, it seems great! Diablo with guns.

  • Feels like a competent Call of Duty, but doesn't contain anything too addicting.

  • Graphics are superb, world is pretty, I like the driving engine.

  • Can't seem to keep myself playing this game, perhaps because I have restarted it 3 times now.

  • Looks better, plays great.

  • Never really sunk my teeth into this one, and only got to it late in its life, but I feel like it would have been awesome when it first came out.

  • Allowed me to live out my Walking Dead zombie killing dreams, but the world was still a little weird, and hard to navigate.

  • Combat and movement feels wrong, sluggish, and awkward for a console game, but(!) the world is great.

  • Just starting this, but there is something about the Souls games that is endlessly thrilling to me; around every corner lies death.

  • Amazing animations, and graphics. Ended too quick, no replay value.

  • Looks amazing, plays great, just too difficult to log into, and play. The sign up process is maddening, and the thought of the process of restarting my account literally scares me.

  • Loved the idea of upgrading the ship, until I found out that I would never get a bigger one.

  • This game's environmental destruction was amazing, and I missed the launch drama, but the battlefield style makes it hard for me to fully love. Spawn, run, die.

  • For a launch title, this wasn't bad.

  • Played through the story which was cool, but thereafter I was never able to get back into the single player, and was for some reason stuck loading into multiplayer games. Huh?

  • The combat and controls are cool, but the missions/world/and methods of interacting with both suck.

  • For what this game is, and what you get out of it, you'd think it would high on this list, but... The launch was such a disaster, and remained that way for so long, that it cannot ever be truly forgiven.

  • These games are still fun, but seem to be going downhill in almost every way.

  • Too much Batmobile, not enough Batman.... Mako anyone?

  • Feels like one of those GTA ripoffs from the PS2 days, you know, like the one with Snoop Dogg in it.

  • Music is terrible, and it somehow just doesn't play like the wonderful 2K15 and prior games.

  • Root and I never scored a single goal, but it was still cool.

  • I don't remember anything about this game, which is a bad sign.

  • Looks good, sounds good, somehow the most boring game I have ever played, but that's mostly the sport's fault.

  • I get building a story, and characters, but this one just seemed way too interested in making both, and not enough making any of that fun.

  • This was the first game I played on the Xbox One. The opening cinematic made it look like the graphics were going to be incredible, but instead they were almost indecipherable from the last gen. Giant let down. Also, the game was a never-ending flood of menus.

  • Bought this to play with Barrick and Rex, who loved the old Killer Instincts games, and yet both refused to play with me thereafter. Why? Because they hate this game. That was my sign to abandon ship.

  • All the suck that may possibly exist in the universe, contained in one game. Looks and plays like shit, but the missing pieces are the worst part.
