I dont feel let down as much as I am starting to notice the end of this console period. The gang said it on the bombcast and I have to agree, games like BF3 make console hardware look old.
i don't really think any review of this game will sway people from buying it at this point. this late in the franchise you are either going to buy it or you aren't.
most people agree that you choose one over the other. a majority of my friends play on the 360, which means i buy most of my multiplatform games for. But every once and a while I will listen to the reviews that say "this looks better on the ps3!" and i listen.
I usually use amazon for all my purchases. They often have promotional credits for preordering games and offer free shipping. So that is a plus.
I got to the local best buy to buy games that I want in the spot. They don't ask questions and I can often walk in, find what I am looking for, and checkout in 5 minutes.
Snipers are a means to suppress enemy movement. That feeling of dread when you hear the crack of their rifle makes you think of your next moves very carefully.
The problem with snipers arises when everyone wants to be one. This is a common problem in team games where there is no teamwork. The big shooters will never implement a system to regulate the amount of sniper/recon/scoped players active at any one time, but it might be something to look into.
i own it on the 360, but i'd have to say overall its up to how much you like this game. if you want more battlefield, then yes. but if you are satisfied with the regular maps, then you can skip and and never look back.
the ability to vanish into the jungle and have enemies stop looking for me. also: silenced weapons, if in the game, please, please, please, try and mask where i am shooting from. the stealth mechanic needs to be at an all time high on this one.
