I love how THQ seems determined to take WH40k into every genre possible. They got a strategy game, RPGish RTS, FPS, and now a dual joystick shooter. What's next? A 40k flight sim?
why do people fight over whether this game should be fun or not? why don't we as gamers try and see that hopefully ALL games that come out are fun? why do we try and pick sides, condemning the other half to unhappiness?
i don't know if i will personally play it but i wish this game the best, and for those who want some star wars in their mmo, i hope that it excites them and lets them be happy.
creating your own decks would be a nightmare for players, and would compete with magic online. this series will most likely remain with a pre-made deck focus, an unlockable sideboard, and the ability to buy unlock keys to make cards foil.
the trick to tanking is try not to become overwhelmed with all the things happening at once. take a moment to understand what your buttons do and which situations you might use them in. pull a few mobs outside a dungeon in tank spec and see what feels good. Look for abilities that chain into others - like spreading rend around a group with thunderclap. Also look for abilities that proc from talents and other abilities.
tanking coming through practice. don;'t give up if you aren't that great out of the gate.
