It's to make a profit for CBS, but it also keeps CBS at a certain distance.

Say an exec has an idea for the site it's far easier to tell them to screw if you're making a profit directly from the consumers on a regular basis. Obviously if the profit isn't big enough that wouldn't work, but it seems to be fine.

Not the sole purpose for subs, but I'm sure it helps.

Most of what you mentioned in here is why I'm steadily buying less new games for kicks and only getting games I really want (2-3 a year) and just playing emulated sixth gen games down.

I only buy games I'm pretty sure will be good nowadays, so I preorder on Amazon and get the 20% discount it's worked out very well. But if it's something like a fighting game that I jump in and out of in short bursts I'll download it.

Been following since 2004 back in the gamespot days, and haven't missed a beat. I remember the day Jeff got fired in 2007 b/c I had just had a High school wrestling match and came home to watch on the spot and he wasn't there, and I remember thinking the thumbnail of just Jeff was weird.

I'm whatever on Ben, I will say that I like him more at this point than I did Patrick, and Austin. I came around on Walker but he was too political for my escapism website (I work in news so I get enough politics at work). Ben just seems like a kid trying to find his comedic barrings, hopefully he'll get there.

My 50" vizio has had band hdmi ports for years now and I just got a new job six months ago so I've been looking at getting a replacement. However I'm going to be moving in the near future so I'll probably hold off till I see a holiday deal.

I'm not a particular Disney, or FF fan but I loved the First 2 Kingdom Hearts.

The anime ass anime parts of KH got out of control after 2. KH 2 wrapped up what I wanted, Sora, Riku, And Kairi getting home. So for me all these other games are just a bonus.

BBS AND DDD are games I "enjoyed" but there is way to many moody bullshit main characters, and unearned nonsense story points for my taste.

I didn't mind the shitty anime villains in KH2 because 1) I knew I was going to kill them, so they can suck as much as they like. 2) I like Sore, Donald, and Goofy being silly rolling through Disney stuff and jacking fools.

But I'm hopeful, and pretty confident that Sora, Donald, and Goofy are the main characters in 3 and they'll hit the tone I want.

I use the official DS4 dongle for emulators and the controller that is synced only looks for that dongle not the PS4, so it's won't turn it on. The pc sees the dongle as if the DS4 is connected via a wire if that helps.

Both, but I keep finding myself skipping past huge parts of the Bombcast, or just shutting it off in the middle. They just do not talk about things that interest/entertain me anymore, especially during the quiet periods like now.

I watch less and less GB West content each day, and I'm passing on this too. Brad and Ben are my least favorite guys on staff, and I like KH too much, and played the first one too many times to watch Brad moan and groan his way through one of my favorite games.

If they end up getting an appreciation for the series that'll be neat, but I'll watch steal my sunshine.
