I didn't mind it. It did feel a lot shorter than Oblivion's though. The whole storyline is way better if you talk to the jester (when he needs help fixing his wagon that is carrying the Night Mother) before you take on the quests as it just feels more interesting. Cicero's diaries were the best part of the whole thing as it tells the demise of the organization everywhere else (most people probably only read his last diary, there are four or so in total).

It people complain about my lack of a spoiler tag it's their fault. It says spoilers in the title of the thread.

Knifes have been awful since the beta as well. You can hit a guy, see blood draw, and it won't kill him or start the animations. The hit detection issues affect the shotgun a lot, you see someone close quarters, shoot and clearly hit them point blank and not damage them, and then they kill you before you can shoot again.

Knifing from the back does instant kill. Knifing from the front does like 30% damage. FYI.

No, I know that. I'm saying it doesn't detect a hit half the time unless they are perfectly still and even then it doesn't work. The knife is much worse than BC2, and even that one was worse than BF2, where there was no animation outside of the swing at all but if it hit them you got your kill, which is best for a multiplayer game. It feels like the animation messes up knife kills a lot more than it should.

What are they referencing? When did the GB guys do something energy drink-related?
Early bombcasts were marked with trying out new energy drinks which followed with people sending them obscure energy drinks from around the world, now followed my people sending them obscure food.

I miss those days I really do. If only I could go back in time. Would you happen to know Doc Brown's phone number?

Bird Nest or whatever it was called was the best drink test.  And the original Swedish candy test because they had no idea what it was at the time.  I listen to the old casts from time to time. They're so good. Not that the new ones aren't, it's just the old ones were hilarious with their food tests.  And then there were those people on iTunes who complained about too much food on the Arrow Pointing Down casts.  Ahh the old days.

Triple monitor setup. A 23" 1920x1080 for modern games, a 20" 1600x900 for internet/music/extra space, and a 19" 1280x1024 5:4/4:3 aspect ratio for word processing and old games/FPS (Primarily Counterstrike, BF2 and old RTS like Age of Empires 2, Warcraft 3, and Starcraft Brood War). I like 4:3 so much more for word processing as there is so much wasted screen space in widescreen for most word processors. I can run a game in eyefinity or whatever but it has to be in windowed mode because of the difference in vertical resolution, and that one of the monitors is so much narrower horizontally. I sometimes turn off the 19" because it's an old Dell that puts out more heat than both of my other monitors combined (I can use it to heat my room in winter, not even kidding). If I feel like using my TV I have it on a fully pivotable stand on the wall near my PC (it normally faces my bed) so I can just run an HDMI from my PC to my TV and play games like Skyrim while sitting on my bed. 99% of the time I just play games at my desk though so I've only done that once or twice, plus then I can watch Quicklooks and whatnot while I play games.

The difference from 2 monitors, which I used to use, to 3 isn't nearly as huge as going from 1 to 2, which is a huge improvement. I only have the third monitor because we happened to have our old monitor from our family desktop not being used because we got a new one. It's definitely useful for essays if you are using web sources though. I actually prefer 4:3 to 16:9. 16:10 is still the best to me, but it is so hard to find affordable 16:10 monitors these days.

Probably something like this (in no particular order, other than Skyrim being first)

Skyrim, Forza 4, BF3, LA Noire, Mortal Kombat, Minecraft (since it's officially released), Catherine, Portal 2 maybe (have to finish it first, I like it though).

Kairosoft games on my phone get special mention because they are insanely addicting. I have a few more I need to play first as well (Like Binding of Isaac, and I need to play more Bastion, I've only played it for around an hour so far).

A similar thing happened to me. i hit this boss mage that also had like 2 really strong draugr thingies with it too and it had so many wards I just couldn't kill it and was getting killed in seconds. I decided I didn't want to come back later so I hit that ~ key, typed tgm, killed it, then un-tgmed and that was that.
