I was duped into buying a Wii, and will not be buying this whatsoever. First party games are all well and good, but like the last 2 systems (Wii, 3DS), third party support is nearly non-existent. I can't keep playing Mario/Zelda/Metroid all over again. I need variety.
I lived in the same town for my entire life, and I knew everyone, and everyone knew me. When I got divorced, I decided to look elsewhere, so I used internet sites. Met a few really good people, a couple that didn't pan out, but mostly had good experiences. In fact, I met my current girlfriend through one, and we've been living together for going on two years now. But, we're both also in our mid 30s, so its a different game for us than 20-somethings.
I'm enjoying the game, but from the looks of the server list, I'm not the only one who cannot connect and join games. I've tried repeatedly, and had only one success. Of course, I have the "beta forum bug", and cannot report this to Runic. I'm sure they'll sort it out, but online multiplayer is what we're testing right now- and its not working at all for me.
Anyone else having trouble getting into mulitplayer games in the beta? I see the server list, and I've only been able to connect once out of nearly 30 tries. Any idea why? No help in the beta forums, as I can't see them (Runic knows of this issue and is working on the forum thing).
