Btw, while humorous, delivery drivers do not like to be tipped in physical goods, other than cash.

I remember delivering to a house in the 'burbs and this teen offered a 6 pack or $5. Maybe if it was something slightly nicer than Bud Light, I would've taken the 6 pack...

I also delivered to this sketchy-looking apartment that had black curtains covering all of the windows. When they answered the door, there was a visible cloud of smoke escaping from the home and wreaked of weed. The dude was all glassy eyed (obviously), and I'm not entirely sure he remembered ordering the pizzas. But he tipped decently, so no complaints!

On the other end of the spectrum, I once delivered to the high school I attended. I think it was for a football event of some kind, but not an actual game. They ordered ~20 items (pizza, dessert, soda, etc.), and tipped like $1.50. I was fucking pissed. It's a pain in the ass to deliver that much stuff and it cuts into your ability to make other runs. I already had a negative impression of the football dudes at school, but that made me really dislike them.

I know these aren't terribly exciting stories, but it was fun to reminisce!

PS: I was also tipped $20 for a single pizza once. That was awesome.

Being a pizza delivery driver previously, the correct amount is $3-$4. As long as you tip more than a dollar, you're not scum. If you tip $3-$4, you're pretty rad. And if you tip more than $4, I'll look forward to delivering to you again (which means faster/better service (and yes, we do remember houses)).

I worked for Papa John's. They charge a delivery fee and we're given "gas money" on top of our wage, but we don't see the delivery fee and the gas money is no where near adequate for how much we actually drive. Tips are much appreciated and very awesome!

The more you know!

Recently, my retired dad put together an awesome theater room to enjoy his massive movie collection. I helped him set up a PS3 for streaming and he loves it. Last month or so I even started getting him into games, and he's loving the hell out of Burnout Paradise and getting all nostalgic with Doom 1 and 2.

However, he started asking if there were any good light gun games for the PS3. He and I played a bunch of Area 51 in arcades back in the day. Being more of a 360 dude myself, I know very little about what his best options would be. The biggest hurdle is the fact that his theater room uses a projector. The PS3 and projector on one wall, with the screen ~15-20' across the room on the other wall.

What would be the best way to play a light gun game on a setup like this? Would all games even work? Any games for the Eye or something?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I was a Logitech loyalist for a good, long time, but I bought a DeathAdder on a whim and I freaking love it. Way more than I thought I would. I bought it solely because it looked comfortable. When it finally comes time to replace, I may just stick with Razer.

This is a straight up lie. BF4 is selling gangbusters right now, even with it broken. Why would EA throw money away by putting projects on hold, when BF4 is making the money they want it to make? Businesses are there to make money, not waste resources on a project that's already released and making it's profit.

Public perception and customer loyalty absolutely matter in the long-term though. It's in their interest to make sure everyone enjoys it so customers will go buy the next game down the road. If they just burn everyone and don't fix their product, people won't buy the next one. Pretty basic business theory.

That being said, I highly doubt they're not working anything else... That'd just be silly.

How come all the mediocre games get a shout out in the poll, but the ones that people seem to be enjoying (Dead Rising, Forza, Killer Instinct) are all left out? Just makes it seem like you're trying to be negative...

While I feel the hype is not as crazy as it was for the previous generation, the games look a lot stronger to me. And I think that's awesome.

Edit: Also, what the hell does the 3rd option even mean? Serious question.

Really? Spend a lot of time talking to your mailman/UPS dude? I don't even disagree with you, but this not even sort of contributing to that issue.

Hearthstone for me! I'm pretty effing hooked. Still haven't paid for anything. Though some drunk play sessions got me awfully close... Then I realized I'd have to go get my credit card.
