If you don't mind the size get the ATH-M50s, they are easily the best set for a reasonable amount of money. I wouldn't wear them outside though. If you want something more portable then the Bowers and Wilkins P5s are very nice. Not the best sound quality (they still sound great and will be way better than Beats), but they are small and sound good for their size.

That's neat I guess, but are there really a lot of people who don't own one of the many, many, other platforms this game is available on AND own a Vita? It seems like a small market.

As far as I can tell it is very processor intensive rather than graphics intensive. Either way, both of your parts aren't very good. I don't know which i3 you have, but a gt320 is an entry-level card that's not really meant for serious games. Not to defend Sim City, I don't think it's very good, but I'm not sure you can blame this particular problem on the game.

Even Jeff had framerate issues. And he is using an i5 processor and a 670 gfx. The game is poorly optimized and should run well even on OP's setup if Maxis did a better job.

I have a similar setup to Jeff and I haven't experienced anything major, not saying he didn't, just that it's not a complete disaster where you can't get a decent framerate even with a good system. The OP's system barely meets the minimum specifications and the minimum specifications are usually the lowest you can have without the game refusing to start. I just really don't know what you expect when your system doesn't even come close to the recommended requirements.

I'm with @mellotronrules on this. Even a GTX660 (just over $200) can run anything out today at 1920x1080 and high-ultra settings (maybe not Crysis 3). That may change when the new consoles come out, but then you can buy the new $200 card a year and a half from now and still have spent less than buying one 690 now.

Even if this is true, Square has to prove they still know how to make good games before this means anything. Final Fantasy 13 wasn't terrible, but it was no where near good enough for me to care if it is a system exclusive. I'm sure the name still carries some weight with the general public, but they blew whatever reputation they had with most of the fans this generation with constant delays and mediocre products.

I played something like 140 hours of FFX. It was my favorite PS2 RPG (I didn't play Persona 4 until Golden came out, but P4 is unquestionably better), but I think I'd rather have it occupy that fond place in my memory. Most of the times when I go back and play old games I end up thinking they look and play like crap. No so much SNES era stuff, but PS1 and early PS2 era games really haven't aged well.

They don't promote those though. That is, they don't even pretend that anyone cares about Jurassic the Hunted. People care about The Walking Dead franchise and Activision is doing it a diservice if they put out a bad game. Also, I'm pretty sure they are selling this for $49.99, which means people should hammer it if it's not as good as comparably priced shooters.

Considering Terminal Reality has never made a really good game, I'm going to bet that this one won't be great either. I'm sure someone really loved those BloodRayne games, but I don't think anyone is going to claim they were amazing games. On top of that, they haven't even made a game of that quality in a while. Most of their recent work has been ports and movie crap.

@gkhan:

I didn't mean to imply that the dev team has some hidden agenda. I just think that tax thing is weird, given how complicated some other aspects of the simulation are. Presumably if they were pushing some libertarian agenda then everyone would leave as soon as there was any tax (since there is no military). Everyone would coordinate their own services, and then there would be no need for the player.
