I have been listening to Ryan's summer jams playlist whenever I'm in my car. I also make sure to keep the windows down and the wind in my hair. It just feels right.
Fuck, Ryan Davis. I don't know what you all are talking about but I plan on sporting that beast in public with pride. Sure, I won't wear it to work or anything, but I don't think the duders at 7-11 or the people I pass on my daily run will care about my t-shirt choice. Ryan would have definitely worn this shirt and I say fuck anyone (without a comma!) who doesn't like it.
I picked up Legend of Grimrock, Game of Thrones, Just Cause 2, Quantum Conundrum, Total War: Shogun 2, and Ys Origin. Overall I've been kind of disappointed by the daily deals and the community votes.
I couldn't believe how depressing both of those games were in their final hour. I think my vote has to go for The Last of Us, because it affected me way more strongly. Once I finished that game, kind of like Vinny said on the podcast, I had to just kind of sit there for a good while thinking about what happened.
All in all though, I think we can agree that the real winner is Troy Baker. Whenever he yelled "Elizabeth!", I would yell "Katherine!" in return.
Hey duders, I was wondering if anyone was planning to, or would like to, hit up the Anamanaguchi concert on July 28 in Rochester. I bought a ticket for myself and I might have one friend coming with me, but it's like a 5 hour drive for me so I don't know many people who want to make the trip. I figured if any other GB members were going we could have a sort of impromptu meet up. I'm planning on heading out there Saturday and grabbing a hotel room for those two nights, so I'll be in town most of the weekend. If anyone will be in the area or is going to the show, let me know.
I've been looking to get a headset for the new PC I'm building as well, but I'm not willing to spend anywhere near $200. Anyone have a recommendation for a decent pair at the $50-60 range?
I don't really like Final Fantasy VII, I find it pretty overhyped by those in my generation. Personally, my favorite (aka most nostalgic) is FFX. I also have a strong distaste for XII, due to its very hands-off combat system and its somewhat boring setting and plot.
@jouseldelka: I wouldn't consider piracy a sin in your scenario. Everyone goes through that period where you just can't afford to buy games. Once you're out of school and working, you'll (hopefully) start putting some of that money towards the devs who deserve it.
