I still don't know what my GOTY is yet. Last year it was clearly the Walking Dead but this year I have yet to play a game to wow me as much as my 2012 pick. I played both the Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite but, the more I think back on them, the less appealing they seem.

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb

I played it on the original Xbox but I imagine there is a PS2 or PC version as well.

Now that i've played a few hours of Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD, I can honestly say that I miss the motion controlled combat of Skyward Sword.

Despite liking The Last of Us, it's gameplay isn't really that amazing. The shooting mechanics are tight but the salvaging can get boring and the enemies aren't that fun to fight. The story and characters are where the game shines but I have no desire to ever go back and play it again.

Anything with Leslie Nielsen or Mel Brooks involved. Some of my favourites include the Naked Gun series, Spaceballs and Airplane. I also liked the Hot Shots movies starring Charlie Sheen and Lloyd Bridges. I find modern day comedies are way too crude and dark with their humour while I prefer silly gags and more lighthearted jokes.

Worms Revolution while playing with friends. Those matches can get insane.

How about the Metroid Prime games? Judging by other entries on that list I feel that Metroid would fit right in.

Granted I just got a Wii U recently so I have yet to be wowed by anything.

I would play 999 before Virtue's Last Reward. There is enough call backs to the first game in VLR that it would be better if you understood there significance by playing 999.
