So much whining about Diablo 3. I have stopped caring.

The game is awesome, as long as I can play they can take all the time they need. Since yesterday the game has been working fine for me.

That's a meaningless score and its not a legit metric when all they're doing is complaining about how the game was released rather then judging the game itself.

The game itself is fine. The way they are handling DRM is what's bad- that's not the games fault. And yes, this goes for any game that uses terrible DRM (although there are worse ones, imo, then "always online DRM")

The combo system in this one is what I always wanted in Diablo 2. It's fantastic!

Make sure you enable elective mode, and you can set any skills you want to any location.

Personally I recommend binding all the action keys to mice buttons if you have the buttons for it. The way I play, you should never have to touch the keyboard- except maybe to use a potion. But that's me.

Edit: The templar shield bug seems to be fixed, but I don't know how it happened either, so take that with a grain of salt. On mine I have switched out his shield several times, and no problems. I'm on Act 2 though.

I'm pretty sure there are several people that will be up for more then 24 hours for this launch- especially because its so busted.

While it pisses me off I cant login again, I know they are working to fix the servers so I'm not angry at them.

Take solace in the fact that you are angry because the game is actually awesome and you want to play it.

The game isnt busted, it works fine. The battlenet servers are just shit right now for some reason (presumably because of all the new connections) it's annoying as fuck but it will pass. It doesn't change the fact the game is awesome.

I haven't been able to login at all. They recently posted it should be fixed by 130PDT (330 CDT). Kinda sucks. Wish I could play already haha

This is what happens when you require people to play online. I am kind of surprised, though, they didn't have these kinds of kinks worked out already. I guess some things break easier then others, I don't know. I'm no programming expert.

No. I just don't have a lot of time to play anymore. So, Giant Bomb is my substitute or whatever

I have never played a game a second time and enjoyed it more.

I usually get fed up with it at the same time I did the first try. I'll do this often, because I want to finish the games I have. But if im not liking it I've never had that change on a second attempt.

Does the gaming community even know who he is and what he has done? Yep

Does the gaming community care? Nope, it makes no difference. He is asked to be an advisor/consultant. He's gives them input on how things work (worked) in the military for the era he was involved in it which they will undoubtedly use for inspiration as well as getting certain things fairly accurate.

It makes no difference what he did in the past. It has nothing to do with consulting on a game.
