Tested and Screened are both awesome sites. I have never been a comic book or anime fan myself, but I have no problem with the crew at Comic Vine or Anime Vice.
They fall into the same trap that PSN+ did. Sure I get some new shiny things every now and then, but I can basically do what I have always been able to do for free. So it doesn't seem like as good as a value as it probably is.

I feel the same. I just don't have the funds to pay at the moment. Buying shit for my dorm, buying books, and other necessities has taken all my money. I'm just really bummed about them splitting the bombcast.
Just a question. I don't get why Whiskey doesn't just put ads on the site instead of charging users for content. If you don't want to watch an ad then preoccupy yourself with something else for 30 seconds.
I don't get everyone's hate of advertisements. I could care less if there was an ad for a game when I launched the site. Ads are not that big of a problem, and they would most likely make more money by putting more ads on the site. Seriously GB crew just put some ads up, no reasonable person will care.
As a poor college student this blows. The bombcast is my single favorite piece of content every week on the internet, so I would like to pay them for it. But why not just slide in audio commercials into the podcasts or before videos for non-paying members. I for one would rather sit through a few advertisements than have to pay 50 bucks a year. For subscribing you should get a piece of Jeff's moustache, or a video message from Johnny V with his impersonation of Ice-t.
