@Jay444111 tries really hard to look deeply at stuff, but usually comes up ridiculously short. He thinks I hate him, but I'm starting to soften to him because he does seem to earnestly try, sometimes he actually succeeds in a writing a decent post that isn't an insult to the senses or anyone that disagrees with him, and because people jump on him now no matter what he writes (no matter how mundane or non-inflammatory).

@Hizang posts a lot and makes videos and stuff because I think he wants to be more recognizable on the forums. For a while he seemed to be going for quantity over quality, but he's since toned it down.

@Claude is a cool old dude that loves his goddamn Wii. Keep fighting the good fight, sir.

Also, on the avatar thing - I try not to change mine too much. I sometimes edit my Sora such as - Kenny Sora, Skyrim Sora, Batman Sora etc if I want to change it up. I changed to Earthworm Jim for a couple of posts and I liked it, but I've had the Sora avatar for a while now and I think a lot of people know me by that.

I still sort of resent you for making me feel like an idiot in a Star Wars thread back when you had a Majora's Mask avatar. My comment was about Yoda fighting with a lightsaber for the first time and I admitted (reluctantly, though I don't think it came off that way in the post at all) that it blew my mind at the time and that I thought it was really cool when I first saw it in the theatre.

You then commented something about how the scene made you lose hope in the franshise when you saw it as a kid. I figured that if 86 was your birthyear then we were about the same age when we saw it, and I felt like I was made a fool of for being a dumb kid. Basically, I was admitting to something that I was already pretty embarrassed for having liked and then someone came and rubbed it in by suggesting they had better critical thinking at about the same age.

I ended up making some pissy passive aggressive comment back, it wasn't exactly my finest moment, but it has sorta stuck with me since.

I'm more of a writer geek than a Star Wars geek, in that sense. Anyway, it's totally fine, normal, and expected that a kid our age would like Yoda in Episode II. It was fan-service; that was the point. I'm just that much of a nerd, I guess.

@Wrighteous86: Well I like writing too, it's actually one of the few things I could see myself getting good at, but I also feel like I haven't, in the past, been very good at looking at something critically. It's something I've been working on improving but also probably something I've ended up becoming pretty self conscious and self critical about, which is why I take any criticism concerning it (intentional or imagined) rather harshly.

Anyhow thanks for being a good sport and even taking the time to look up that old thread. I could not care less for the outcome of an old argument at this point but it felt good to get this old grudge resolved. You seem like a pretty good duder, afterall, and I didn't like not liking you.
