Well, it looks like it's a good improvement, but I don't like any of the announcement games particularly. I might as well wait until something good comes out.
Yeah, Dan will do fine, I fell so much in love with Dexter's OST that I bought it instantly. I just hope Akira is back for more Silent Hill after this. Either way, I'm very intrigued to hear more of his work with Mary Elizabeth in Shadows of the Damned :)
I agree. I only played Earthbound 1 because my Japanese sucks =\ I played it 3 times and started it over 6.... I really don't know how they don't notice the following it has and release either a new one of a remake or port or whatever, just more Earthbound!
lol that sucks, that's why i always leave my consoles above ground. of course, they could fall (been there, done that, ps2 - lucky enough it kept working ok, but my floor got some markings on it lol)
i also have both tattoos and piercings. I have 8 on my ears lol (4 on each), lip and eyebrow. I have 4 tattoos, one of them is videogame realted, it's the Halo of the Sun from Silent Hill. The rest is mainly music-related or personal. I plan on tattooing another SH dedication though (yeah i know, i'm a fanatic, lol).
They're very different. RE is much more physical horror while SH is psychological horror. In RE you have the gore, jump-scares and stuff like that, SH makes you fear the dark, what you can't see, the subjective. It messes with your mind, and that's awesome. Story-wise SH is much more complex and open to interpretation, and so, much better (for me) while RE's is straighfoward a virus made some zombies (not that for all games, but yeah, you get what I mean). I love RE too though, but SH is by far my favorite game franchise ever. Play it if you like survival horror. Start by the first one though. 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 0 - 5 or you might get lost in the story.

I agree with crack_rabbit. The missions are a lot alike older games, this is the worst thing in the game. And that's it. The rest of the game was updated in every way possible and presented with new features. People hate it because it's cool to hate something so big and popular. Yeah, it's as stupid as that. Of course I'm not talking about every hater, but probably more than half of them. Also, some people hate it because they don't have any system to play it on. lol
