I wasn't going to buy the 3DS before the price drop (here in Portugal the price drop happened exactly on the 12th, no store I know of was selling it for the new price before that date), thing is, there was a store here that was closing and was clearing out everything, they had a sweet sales pack containing a black 3DS + Zelda: OoT for around 180$. Didn't even think twice, so I ended up buying it exactly on August 11th! Funny thing is, they also had the 3DS, seperately, for 250$, lol.

Ugh 24 more hours 'till the release here in europe! Tomorrow's 9 hours of work will be looooooooooooong.

I know I'm reviving an old thread but... Any other news on this?

Awww, I missed this! I hope they get the Quick Looks up soon, I can't wait to watch both.

I wasn't going to get the 3DS before the price drop, but since a local store here in portugal was doing a sales pack (Nintendo 3DS Black + Zelda OoT 3D) for 199€ I just had to buy it. I logged in during the afternoon (around 6pm) and registered my 3DS + Game, updated the firmware, went to the eShop, downloaded free stuff in case going to the eShop was not enough, but I still haven't gotten any confirmation that I'm part of the Ambassadors Program. 
 
I know the limit was 11:59pm (CET) of today, I logged in around 7:30pm (CET). Anyone here from Portugal / Europe who hasn't gotten the notification? Because all I see is Americans getting the confirmation.

It's going to be played in the opening movie, Hulett confirmed this in an interview with Joystiq. Also, according to him, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn is also doing some music for the game.

This petition might not change much, because contracts have probably already been signed and money moved, but even if it's a small chance, I'm signing. I also shared this on the silent hill facebook and other pages. We never know...
