Games made by people I know
I know the people (perhaps even just one) responsible for the development of these games. Typically means I've met them & hung out with them in real life.

Christine Love is a mean Cards Against Humanity player.
I am so damned happy this game got Alex so much deserved recognition. The kid is a genius.
Matt and Jaime are cool dudes. This game has progressed SO MUCH since I saw it first made at the 2012 Global Game Jam.
Same colleague was lead multiplayer tester on this game. So much love.
This was the game that got me into online multiplayer, and I recently learned that a colleague of mine was the lead tester on this game. I hugged him.
I got a copy of Anna's book, Rise of the Videogame Zinesters, in which she had signed "make a game where you cut off your finger." I will one day, Anna. I will.
Fun fact: I got to play a build of this game at Gamercamp 2011. It was freaking awesome back then.
This game also features friend & Canadian media darling Sean Hatton, a.k.a. DJ Finish Him, being eaten by a blob.
The Drinkbox guys were the first and only developers I interviewed in my brief career as a Reviews Editor for PSNStores.com
Will's a cool guy, capable of great things.
I got to spend some time with Zoe when she was living in Toronto. She's awesome.
Shawn McGrath has the most epic facial hair of any game dev in Toronto, and possibly the most monitors used by a single person as well.
One of my most nervous moments was when Raigan sat down to try a game I had JUST completed after a three-day game jam. Thankfully no bugs cropped up!
Jon is really, really shy.
D'uh, I know myself.
Christine introduced me to Twine. I probably wouldn't have started making interactive fictions if she hadn't.
Did I mention Christine rocks at CAH? Seriously, there are new levels of horrible and she introduced me to all of them.
Cassie is pretty awesome. Her dad's kind of a jerk sometimes but he makes excellent adventure games and taught me Flash.
"droqen" is super-talented and hugs me a lot.
Miguel just plain rocks (he's a cornerstone of Toronto's indie community), and Shaun lays down the sexiest jams when he's not reviewing mobile games on Canadian TV.
Craig Adams inadvertently got me into gamemaking. True story.
Kris told me the story of how this was almost called "Little Big Battle" but they were pitching it at the same E3 where LittleBigPlanet was announced so that changed.
When I was interning at Untold Entertainment, Capy was in the office next door.
I ALMOST got to see this game direct from their offices, but Nathan was packing up to head to Shanghai.
I once ate pho with Jon Mak.
Mare & Raigan are another two cornerstones of Toronto's indie dev scene.
I am a horrible person for not having played all of Anna's games yet.
An earlier build of this game had some scenarios written by me in it; sadly they got cut from the final version. Still, Damian is a wunderkind.
Merritt is awesome. We haven't met in real life, but I hope to change that soon.
LOL SPOILERS OLD *MUTE DIES!!!
Anna hates that dys4ia is the one game she seems to get the most recognition for. I don't blame her, she's made a ton of other games.
I am sad that this is coming to Xbox One first, but I am still so happy for CAPY. They bust their asses hard.
Being a game developer in Toronto, it's pretty hard to not know anyone working at Ubisoft Toronto.
